Chapter 12 : Naval Battle

Chapter 12

(Lucy's POV)

I woke up that morning with a smile on my face and feeling better than I had in a while. I was in Laxus' arms and he was holding me closely with a peaceful look on his face. I knew that we had 3 more days of the games before it was over and I was hoping that we would win. I leaned down and kissed Laxus and before I knew it he had me pinned and was kissing me passionately. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer to me. I let out a slight moan when his hand trail down my body. 

"You really know how to wake a man up blondie." Laxus said with a laugh.

" I just enjoy kissing you so much and I am so happy that you finally accepted me." I said with a smile.

"I just know that I have been wrong to keep pushing you away, because you are all that I need." Laxus said with a smile. 

"Laxus you should know.." I didn't get to finish before Natsu burst in the room. 

"Where the heck have the two of you been, the games are about to start." Natsu said. 

I shot Laxus a look and quickly grabbed my outfit and went to the bathroom and changed and Laxus done the same as me. We darted out the door without a second thought. We made our way to the arena with the others.

"Lucy are you a Laxus a couple?" Erza asked when were headed to the arena.

"We are a couple." I replied.

"Lucy, Laxus is known playboy and the last thing I want is for you to get hurt." Erza said. 

"Laxus and I haven't really confessed how we feel yet, we have just confirmed that we want to be a couple." I said, trying to get Erza to understand. 

"That is where he going to get you. He will get what he wants and then he will break your heart like he has every other woman." Erza said in a stern motherly voice. 

"I don't think that he will hurt me." I said. 

"How can you be so sure?" Erza asked. 

"I know you are worried, but there is no need. Laxus will treat me right I know he will." I said. 

Our discussion ended there, but I know that she wanted to ask more than what was giving her, she also knew when to leave well enough alone. Erza was always one to worry about the people that she cared for, because she had such a kind heart and that's what I loved about her. I also loved the fact that she was so strong and was willing to do whatever it took to protect her family. I looked ahead and saw the stadium come into view and an uneasy feeling settled into my stomach. I looked back at Laxus and he had an uneasy look on his face and this made me worry even more.

"Are you alright Laxus?" I asked. 

"I just have this feeling that something bad was about to happen, I just not sure what it could be." He replied. 

"I hope that it just nerves. I really don't want anything bad to happen." I said, and Laxus stopped and pulled me close to him.

"I won't let anything happen to you." He said and gave me a brief kiss. He pulled away but laced our fingers together. The feeling of our hands being connected was the greatest feeling in the world. I looked up at him and smiled. 

We made it the arena where we meet up with the others and we all talked and expressed our worries for the first day. We made our way to the our section of seating and awaited the announcement to explain the fourth days game.
