Chapter Seven

..."I trust her!"

Garcia's POV:
Those were the last words Reid said before he stormed out slamming the door behind him. Of course I trust Y/n, it's just that I'm worried she's dug herself into a dark and muddy hole that she can't get out of. After a year of working with the BAU she told us more about her past and how when she was 10 her mum and dad died in a car crash on the way to a business meeting, they were driving in a storm at night and road were so slippy that they crashed, and after that she was raised in the Forster care system, which I looked into the system and it all checked out.

Y/n's POV:
Banner was crying, calling himself pathetic and saying Tony being kidnapped was his fault, it wasn't if anyone was to blame it was me, after our dad and Maria were murdered Tony raised me all by himself, well him and the staff around the house, Tony was 21 he should of been out partying and being a normal 21 year old, although the did kinda make up for that once I was in college, instead he hid from the public for years to shield me because he knew how ruthless they could be, he helped me through school and become a genius and I repay him by being to busy and not checking up on him. Bruce finished his sentence. "No, don't say that, you're not pathetic. Look if I wasn't 'on the job' and keeping secrets, I'd been in the same place crying at home, but I need-"all of a sudden Nat and a SHIELD agent was bursting through the door "what?" I say quickly, Nat taps the agent on the arm and says 'tell her', I stand up and yell Impatiently "Tell me what?!", the agent stands up straight and says "ma'am we need to stop, someone had hacked into our security cameras, more specifically" he point up at the one above his head ans the door frame, which point down straight on to me, Banner and the table we sat at. "SHIT!" I tell as push past the agent and Nat, everyone begins to follow me. "Banner, go and inform Cap what going on and tell him to meet in the main security ASAP, pretty boy and Nat you come with me to the main security and we'll figure who's spying on us", Banner shouts on it and runs in the opposite direction to find Cap while me, Nat and the agent begin to run instead of walk to security.

* Small time skip to security*

I quickly opened the door and sat down in the leather Spiny chairs facings the the 5 computer in front of me, oh Garcia would love this set up. "Pretty boy give me the run down" I said while typing furiously and looking at screens, "well about 4 minutes before I bursted in, I notice something was wrong with that camera in that room and figured out it was compromised and was able to kick them out within 20 seconds approximately but I don't know how long they were in for or what they heard, after I knew they were out I came straight to Agent Romanoff  and we came to you" the agent finished, I put my hand on to my head and leaned back in the chair and mouthed out the words 'shit on it', after a few seconds i turned round to face Nat and the agent, "Pretty boy I never got your name?" I asked, "oh umm that okay ma'am, agent Avery pleasure to meet you ma'am" he said with a smile and stuck his hand out, without shaking it I said "Right very good Agent Avery, and don't call me ma'am it makes me feel old. Thank you for your work we can take it from here, you can't leave now, oh actually can you bring me a hot chocolate and a orange or some kind of fruit, you want a anything Nat?", "black coffee please Avery, two sugars" Nat asked, Avery nods and begins to leave "Oh and Avery make sure u knock and wait before you enter when u get back" he nods and as he leaves Cap burst into the room.
"Hey banner told me to meet you here ASAP, what's happened?" Steve asked, Nat gave him the rundown while I turned back to the screens blocking them out while I tried to figure out what to do, suddenly I had it. "Nat lock the door now" you asked cutting her off from speaking, "Y/n w-" you stood up facing her and yelled "Lock the god damn door now!" She looked at Cap who nodded and she locked the door, "Y/n what are going to do" Cap asked a bit nervously, I pushed the chair out off the way and threw my blazer on to it, "you might want to stand back I'm a bit rusty and I wouldn't want you guys to be electrocuted" I said as I faced the computer screens, they took my advice and stood back, placed my arms forward facing the screens, I could fell the electricity moving through my body, my hair glow (h/c) and flow around me like I was standing on a giant fan, I closed my eyes and in my head I could see all that was inside of a computer like some kind of sci-fi movie, my hands were still straight out but now to the side of me and I was hovering about the ground, there it was I could see who I got into the camera, worry began to fill me up and I dropped to the ground coming out of my phase to quickly causing me too faint, Cap picked me up bridal style telling Nat we need to go to Banner all worried but Nat and Wanda were the ones who trained me so the knew I just need to sleep and with that Cap and Nat bought to my room and I slept.

*time skip a couple of hours*

I woke up and looked around to see I was in now in my room, too the left of me was a hot chocolate with my name on and and orange, that's when it all came back to me I sat up quickly trying to get out of bed but Nat ran over and sat me back down and covered me up with my quilt and blanket "Woah woah woah, calm down it's okay, you fainted so I'm guessing you came out of your phase too quickly? Eat this it will make you feel better" she said handing me my orange from earlier, I quickly peeled it realising how hungry I really was, as I ate the orange I explained "yeah I went through the systems worldwide and found out who it i and I ended up getting really nervous which made come out of my phase quickly which then caused me to faint, so there you go" I said then swallowing my food. Nat sat next to me on the other side of my bed and asked "so who is it then?" I sighed "I'm going to tell you but you can't say anything to anyone until I speak to them, it tracked back to the FBI in Quantico Virginia, more specifically my friend Penelope Garcia's computer who works with me at the BAU, she's our tech analyst,It's got to have something to do with Spencer". "That's the guy you were on about earlier, why would he know anything about this case and where you were there at that time?" Nat asked but already knowing the answer, "I was stuck, panicking and didn't know where to start, so I called him because his voice just calms me down and then he wanted to know the case and he kept asking so I told him because I can trust him and he helped me find a place to start, he must of done some research on Banner because he knew I was going to start interviews with Banner first and with Bruce being the hulk he must of gotten nervous, then making Garcia hack into the cams" I put my head on Nat shoulder and began to try and wipe the tear away before they fell from my eyes "I'm so sorry Nat, I just want my brother back it's my fault he's gone away, Tony spent years looking after me making sure I did all my homework and getting me into good colleges and repay him by not checking up on him often and letting him get kidnapped, and I needed a fresh pair of eyes to help me out so I called Spencer, I'm so sorry I understand if you wanna tell Cap and Fury and get someone else in the case", at this point I couldn't hold back the tears any longer.
Nat held my hand and looked me in the eyes, "Y/n it's not your fault or anyone's fault that Tony is missing, you are not to blame. Also don't worry about Cap and Fury finding out, you said you wanted to speak to him first right? So here's what we are going to do..."
