I woke up in a cold sweat, thunder rumbling above me. I sat on the side of my bed as I listened to the rain trickling down on the top of the mushroom. I sighed. The soft light of the moon shone through my circular window. As I stood up I noticed something shiny outside! "Eeeeee!!!" I had exclaimed, my little wings fluttered excitedly as I fetched my rain leaf (umbrella). I opened my door to find the glimmering object but I couldn't seem to find it. My ears drooped as I gave up searching. "Well, I'm already outside so I guess I should look for something cool." I said to myself.
I climbed over a tree root and headed on my way. The thunder had simmered down to a low rumble and the rain had slowed to a drizzle. A small mushroom caught my eye, it was red with pale yellow spots dappled on its surface. "Now that; would make a perfect hat." I smirked. I pulled it off it's thin stem and plopped it on my head. "I guess I don't need my rain leaf." I dropped it on the mossy forest floor.
My eyes wandered as I saw blackberry bushes. "Mmm... looks like someone is gonna have a nice breakfast!" I couldn't fly because of the recent rain so I climbed up its branches to harvest three berries. I had to be careful on my way down, they were so heavy! "That's a good bounty for tonight." I said with a smile as I started walking home. I passed my rain leaf so I put my berries on it and pulled the stem.
I was home in no time! I put the blackberries in my food shed along with some acorns and mint I found nearby. I took a section from the blackberry and put it in my mouth. A perfect, small, bite-sized packet of deliciousness! The moon was right above me, it's lunar glow illuminating my skin. "Well, I have the rest of the night off! Hmmm...... Oooh!"
A jasmine bloom caught my eye. It reminded me of the jasmine leaf I had dried, I headed inside excitedly. Dishes clinked as I pulled my mortar and pestle out. I crushed the dry leaf into small pieces and put them into the very corner of a human tea bag that I found in the creek. The wonderful things you can find there! I heated up water and put the tip of the bag in. As I waited, I started whispering a oddly familiar tune. Oh! My tea is ready!" I took my cup out and sipped the drink. "Mmm..." I smiled and sat down on my bed....DOWMEKWNFHESBHEJEEUS should i keep going????
