Chapter 13: Confrontation

Okay hello readers did you guys enjoy that cliff-hanger I left y'all at? I certainly enjoyed seeing a few of you complaining that it was a cliff-hanger. Anyway, this chapter was really good in my opinion so hope you enjoy it. Seeya.

"WHAT?!! They think I killed that woman? She almost killed me" Nishikata stated
"Yeah I know the feeling I was surprised too but you know ever since Yukari joined the newspaper club she's been trying to find a good scoop so that she could move up to chief publisher" she told him.

"That is true but telling everyone that I'm a murderer is just sad on a whole other level I'm going to give her a piece of my mind later".
"I'll come with you" she told him. "Okay he isn't asking how that bitch died this is very good" she thought.

Then the bell rang, and they went to class but before they started heading to class. Then before they entered Nishikata asked her "I've been meaning to ask you something Takagi san. How did Sumire die of blood loss if she was tied in a room all by herself? You lied to me, didn't you?" he said to her.
"Of course, I had to fucking jinx myself" she thought. "Umm she got cut by her knife and died" she said lying.
"I like how you say I'm a bad liar, but this is proof that you're even worse. Tell me Takagi san what happened to her?" he questioned her.

"I-I don't know" she said quietly
"stop lying to me, tell me the truth. What happened to Sumire?" he said sternly. She looked really scared and said "I-I killed her after you passed out...". Nishikata was surprised by this and he almost tripped "you did what to her?"
"I killed her. Please don't be mad" she said quietly.

Nishikata smiled at her "I'm not angry I am grateful that you killed her. She probably tortured many more before me". Nishikata then proceeded to walk closer to Takagi and kissed her on the lips making them both blush madly but Nishikata was blushing a lot harder. They then separated and saw Yukari standing in front of them.

She then started clapping "today is a very good day. I got myself a juicy article for the journalist club. After this I will finally overtake that bitch Yui as the chief editor. She's the one not letting me publish your rumour" she said smugly. She then held her pen hard and pressed the button on the pen five times fast. The pen then played audio "I-I killed her after you passed out...".

"I apologise for creating that rumour about you Nishikata but now I got an even better story. Just think about the headline 'Freshman Takagi kills a transfer in jealousy'." She said really smug.

Then Nishikata laughed. When he stopped, he looked at a confused Takagi and Yukari "you don't know it but you just dug away your chance of being whatever it was you wanted to be".

He took out the pen in his coat pocket and Yukari's face turned into a fearful smile. Nishikata pressed his button and it played audio "I apologise for creating that rumour about you Nishikata but now I got an even better story" Yukari was surprised "how the hell did you get the money for the newest model? It's two million yen!". "Now, if you give me that pen, I won't show this to the chief or whatever and then you won't lose your job". She immediately passed it over to him".

"Well we're off to show this to the chief aren't we Takagi san?" he stated. Takagi nodded "Wait you said you will not give it to her" she said in despair. "This is war idiot never trust what your opponent says. Plus seeing that arrogant face of yours go from hopeful to despair, well there's nothing that makes me happier".

Sumire broke down on the floor while Takagi and Nishikata were going to the office "holy shit when did he get so cool?" she thought in her head. "Hey Takagi, where is the front office?" he said puzzled. Takagi sighed "honestly you've been in this school for almost three years how do you not know where that place is?" she pointed to a large white building. "ohh that's the office? I thought that place was the place they keep students in detention".

They reached the office and they entered it. "Hello, I am Yui the chief writer what business do you have here?"
"we are here to report a member in this club" Nishikata said
"oh interesting who are you reporting? She said
"Tenkawa Yukari. The reason is that she is spreading fake rumours even after you told her not to send the article" he said
"first of all what is your proof? Second of all I've never liked her so I will try to help you".

Nishikata showed her the audio and she was typing an email to Yukari to get there at this moment. After ten minutes she arrived at the office with a defeated face and she cursed in her head. "Yukari these students are proving that you are spreading false rumours around the school. You know the rules you are kicked from the journalist club"
"Yes miss..." she said sadly. On her way out she gave glares to a smirking Nishikata.

They headed into class as Takagi asked him "how did you get that pen though? She said it was two million yen"
"I spent my half a year allowance on it but no worry I think have half a five hundred thousand left" he said as Takagi slowed down in shock.
"That's his half a year allowance? He is really rich".

They reached class and he apologised to Tanabe sensei for being late, but he was excused

Okay that's the end of this chapter did you enjoy it? It was really fun writing this chapter though and this chapter is the longest of all the chapters my first 1000+ chapter. Also, fun fact this whole chapter was written at school/hell
