The Cursed

"Are you sure about this, Dale?" I stop packing my things and look at my only werewolf friend who's already in tears. I hugged her tight while caressing her back.

"It's my mother's last wish, Stella. I need to fulfill it before it's to late." I said as I let out a heavy sigh.

"I- understand." The only words she said before wiping her own tears.

Soon enough we where already putting my luggage inside my customized van. After putting everything inside, I turn myself to Stella and hug her one last time before I bid my farewell.

I looked at my rear mirror and saw my friend wiping her tears as she wave her hand.

'I hope to see you again, my friend.'

My mother's last wish before she died is to find my father in the territory of wolves. My mother and father was forced to separate their selves from each other because of their forbidden love.

My mother is a pure blood vampire while my father is the next in line of the Alpha of Blood Moon's pack. And it's forbidden to love someone from a different supernatural beings.

But fate is always playful because my father accidentally meet my mother. Only to found out that my mother is actually my father's mate.

Knowing the rules, they meet in secret. And it happens that they created me. A forbidden creature. A hybrid. A half pure blooded vampire and a half Alpha blooded werewolf to be exact.

When the elders of both vampires and werewolves clan found out about them meeting in secret, they casted a curse.

Wherein the two of them will never shall meet in this lifetime again. If they will defy the cursed, one of them should pay a life.

Thankfully, my mother and father created an elixir to hide me from those elders knowing that they will surely kill me because I am a forbidden creature that can cause havoc in our world.

The King and Queen of vampires exiled my mother in a very far and small village after putting her the cursed. And about my father? Mother didn't know his whereabouts.

Before my mother died, she told me that the cursed must be lift after she dies so maybe it will be safe for me to look for my father.

I still find it ironic that the cause of my mother's death is the love sickness. I mean is it even possible? Well, my mother is a proof of that I guess.

It took me a couple of days before I arrived in the capital. So I decided to stop by at a department store to buy necessities for my travel.

As I sauntered inside the building, I can smell different kinds of bloods. Some where vampires, werewolves, witches and other supernatural being.

I saw a glint of fear in the cashier's eyes as I walk in front of her. I know that those vampires inside like her can smell my royal blood as a vampire because I hid my scent as a werewolf. Just like how I hide my vampire scent whenever Stella is around. Yes, she doesn't know about me being a hybrid.

'Don't be afraid. I mean no harm.' I mind link her. She slightly bow her head and compute everything inside my cart.

It has been a week before I arrived at the fortress of the Lykus forest. The only place that mother could think about my father's location.

I changed my scent into a werewolf as I enter the forest knowing that I might attract danger from those rogue werewolves.

As I was driving, I can feel that there is something strange in my surroundings. Not until I almost hit a lying person in the road. Thankfully my brakes is still in good condition as it did not disappoint my expectations. And my incredible eye sight which is more enhance than any other beings did not betray me.
