Death the Kid X Reader- Black Blood (Part One)

It's cold. It's damp. It's dark.

Those were the only words you could think about. You had no idea where you were, who you are, or even what day it was.

And it frightened you. All you could remember was piercing golden eyes. Two different shades of yellow, blending into each other in order to create gold that shone beautifully. If only you could remember where you saw those colors from...

One night, Y/N, a young female witch was sitting in a small jail cell. It was dark, drops of water fell from the top of her cell making the ground around her wet and damp, not giving her any comfort. The water was only making the poor girl even colder, as it was snowing outside. It was night time, the only time she was allowed to be awake.

The guards made sure of that.

On a day that she tried to open her eyes to see the light coming from the three metal bars above what she assumed to be a small bed made out of hay, a guard, or maybe he wasn't a guard since she didn't even know if she was even in jail or just being held captive somewhere, was there to knock her out again. Very time she had tried to open her eyes to see light, She would be knock unconcious.

During the night though, she was awake. She never fell asleep during the night for some unknown reason, but she had a feeling that she shouldn't fall asleep. A feeling that someone will come and save her. But who?

She couldn't even remember her own name, let alone anyone else's.

The golden eyes though, the eyes she had seen in her dreams so many times, she had found familiar.

(Now to 1st person!!)

I hold my knees to my chest. It's freezing at... Wherever I am. I look up and see small, white flakes coming into the room that I am in. For the first time since I've been here in this room, I can see something.

I smile to myself and try to catch one of the small flakes. One lands in my hand and I enclose it into a fist. The flake is cold to the touch, but somehow I don't mind it. I close my eyes and hold my closed fist to my chest. And that's when it started.

I started to remember everything.

My name is (Full Name). I'm a witch that was born in Death City, protected by Lord Death himself. I never knew of my powers, or that I was a witch, until the school nurse at the DWMA, Dr. Medusa, told me that I was one and said that she either needed me dead, locked up, or have her use me to her advantage.

I had no idea what was happening. I was scared out of my wits end. Lord Death told me to run and get out of the academy, so that's what I did. I ran.

I ran out of the academy, it was snowing that night also, and was followed by a man who also seemed like a wolf. He jumped in from of me and smiled.

"Goodnight, Y/N," he said in a chilled tone. After that, nothing. Absolutely nothing. I was just put here. Locked up like how she wanted me to be.

I looked down at the ground in silence, my hand was still cold from the snowflake even though it melted already. My fist was clenched tight and my fingers were starting to turn white from it. I closed my eyes and stood up on my bed of hay.

I looked behind me before grabbing two of the three bars in my small cell. I put my face inbetween the bars and took a deep breathe. I know I'm going to be beaten for this, but I don't care.

I opened my mouth and screamed out thename of the boy with the golden eyes.

"KID!!"
