Stanley sat in cla, staring at Maria. She would not care because she never noticed Stanley. He was staring at her brilliant green eyes, blode hair, and her kind, white smile. He thought she was the most beautiful creature ever in existence.

        "Stanley!"

"Sir, the linear equation, meaning ading or subratin each time is y=mx+b, while the exponential equation, meaning multiplying or dividing is a*b to the x!"

"Stanley that is correct!" his professor said back. "Good work!"

Stanley continued o look at and think about Maria. What if they got married? What if they went to the dance together? Stanley would have to be the luckiest man in the world. He knew that would be impossible. I would take a miracle. Regardless, Stanley loved to think of what would hapen if they were together, just as a fun passtime. He would also have her in his actual dreams. In his dreams, he would say something to him every night, but he would forget what it was the second he woke up.

It was always a mystery to him. For a second, Maria looked behind her over to the corner. It seemed like slow-motion. Her hair flipped in a majestic wave. He emerald eyes sparkled. Her pearl-white teeth shined. She whispered to him: "I love you". Stanley then whispered back: "I love you too, Maria."

        Then, he woke up.
