Carlos had asked Lando to came to the garage as soon as possible, so he would have to cancel his date with Sharon and I would have a chance to set everything right

- Don't screw it up Amy - Said Carlos

- It's not my fault that Lando is an idiot, but I'll try

It was almost half an hour later when Lando arrived in his gray McLaren, he waved at me from a distance and went straight to the test room, my head was full, what was I going to say to him? what if he suddenly decides that a relationship with me is not a good idea? damn it

A few minutes later i went to the test room, found Lando concentrating on the simulator

I waved at Carlos calling him to me

- I can't do that Carlos

- Do what Amy?

- Talk to Lando, about .... that

- If you don't say anything he'll go out with Sharon again, and who knows where it might end up

Another half hour passed, I was in the control room alone when Lando walked through the door

- Amy, are you busy?

- Hi Lando, always, but I make an exception for you - Lando came up to me and pulled out a chair

- Carlos looked strange this morning on the phone

- He asked me to come immediately, as if the world was ending ... but it was just a simulator test

Lando was silent, just looking at me, and with every second that passed I was more sure I shouldn't have said anything

- Are we going to have to kiss? - Lando asked

- I don't think so .... if you don't want to

- She won't believe we're a couple if we don't kiss

- So are you going to the party with me? - I asked shyly, avoiding eye contact

So the afternoon passed, Lando and I went to lunch and then we ended up going to the mall so I could buy a new dress for the partyWe returned to Lando's house in the late afternoon, it wouldn't be difficult to pretend to be a couple, we knew everything about each other, and we were close enough, even so I couldn't help being nervous

I was ready, I was wearing my new dress, it was black and very tight, not too long but also not too short

I went downstairs and found Lando sitting on the living room sofa looking at his cell phone

- Hi

Lando took his eyes off his phone and looked at me   - Hi, you look beautiful

- Thank you - I said blushing

- Should we go ?

He offered me his arm and I held it, we walked to the car and he opened the door for me, it was easy to get used to it.  While he was driving, we talked about random things, but my head was focused on what the night would be like.
