You'd woken up inside the coffin for god knows when. Days? It felt certainly longer than that. Weeks? Months? Years? You had not a single clue how long has it been. All you know is that if it hadn't been for your hamon you would have ran out of oxygen and died.

It had been the same night of your honeymoon with Jonathan Joestar when Dio Brando had came crashing in, destroying everything that surrounded you.

Dio had been persistent in pursuing you as his bride and stealing Jonathan's body for himself.

Everything else in the boat had been covered in fire when Jonathan had insisted that you rather save an innocent child's life than his own's.

If only the stray pipe hadn't hit you then Dio wouldn't have been successful in his plan to drag you at the bottom of the ocean with him.

If Dio had failed would you and Jonathan have been happy by then? Would you and Jonathan have started your own family by then? You do not know. You silently curse at the vampire responsible for ruining your life.

You grit your teeth and silently curse some more at the name of the vampire in question who has been peacefully slumbering next to you with something you cannot identify in his clutches.

It had been a miracle that you both had managed to fit in there, especially with how big Dio has gotten from what you last remembered thanks to Jonathan who got his body stolen by yours truly, Dio Brando.

It's been a habit that you've developed to stare into the ceilings of the coffin and reminisce of the life you've had before and think about what would've happened if Dio hadn't arrived at your honeymoon.

You whisper Jonathan's name while thinking of what your life could've been with him only to be greeted by the silence of the coffin.

The silence did not last.

"Y/n."

You flinch at the mention of your name and turn your head to the direction of the voice.

There was nothing there. Only the walls of the coffin that had you trapped.

You decide to list it down as an auditory hallucination. Who wouldn't go insane being trapped in a coffin with the man you despised the most for an eternity anyways?

Though the whispers still continued.

Sweet coos of your name slowly turned into full on sentences.

"You still love me, don't you? Y/n?" You feel something stroke your hair and look over to the sleeping vampire beside you. The voice had sounded familiar yet you couldn't identify whose voice it used to belong to. What felt like an eternity spent in the bottom of the ocean had changed how you remembered things after all.

You do not reply to the voice and stare back at the ceiling of the coffin.

It takes a while for the voice to stop repeating the same question all over again.

There's a sudden piercing scream and what feels like a heavy pair of arms tries and drag you down into nowhere.

You cry and beg and scream for it to stop only for the screaming to get worse. You try and activate your hamon only to be stopped by something heavy grabbing you by the throat.

"Why did you leave me to die y/n? We were supposed to be happy together, weren't we?" It continues to scream.

The screaming stops and you realize you can finally breathe. With a shaky breath you move your fingers to wipe away a tear from your eye.

Somehow, Dio Brando had remained asleep.

You scan the surroundings of the coffin's interior.

There had been nobody else there.

Just you, Dio and Jonathan's head.
