»Don't y'all think it's kinda weird how we see all of the dead crusader's souls but not Kakyoin's? Welp here's a oneshot based off of that :'D «

Synopsis: The remaining crusaders settle down and find peace. Kakyoin Noriaki's soul never met peace

---

Kakyoin Noriaki never went to heaven.

That was a fact you had never come to terms with until this day.

The battle with Dio had ended in tragedy, with three crusaders gone and Joseph's near death. The remaining crusaders had parted in their own ways. Except for you and Jotaro Kujo who had gotten married and settled down.

You were both happy, living in your own little world in a suburban house at Florida. It hadn't been long until you both had Jolyne.

Jolyne had been an absolute gift from the day she was born. She had rarely misbehaved and was always easy to manage.

Lately, Jolyne had been talking to herself a lot more than she used to. An imaginary friend, perhaps?

You'd later learned that Jotaro had asked her about it once only for Jolyne to say something along the lines of not wanting to talk to him because K says so.

You laughed it off saying it's just Jolyne playing pretend. Jotaro on the other hand didn't seem amused and was hurt about the situation.

It had been today that you learned that you shouldn't have laughed it off.

Jotaro had been prepared to go out on one of those business trips again. This time on a small town in Japan called Morioh. He'd been ranting about it for days now, going off about an affair and some kid named Josuke.

"Jolyne why won't you say bye to your papa?" You call out to your daughter who had been busy playing with her dolls at the dining area.

"K says no."

"Jolyne. Please. Your papa won't be around for a few months." You plead.

"But K says no." She protests, causing you to frown.

"Yare yare. If she doesn't want to then that's fine. I'll just call you both when I get there." Jotaro takes off his cap and kisses your cheek as you do the same.

After bidding your husband farewell you close the door and head over to your daughter, thinking about how you should approach her about her imaginary friend.

"So can you tell me all about your friend?" You gently stroke your daughter's hair as she cocks her head in your direction.

"Weeeell." Jolyne bites her lip. "I'm going to ask K first if it's okay that I should ask you."

Jolyne pulls you into her bedroom and points at the empty corner at her bedroom.

"K, you wouldn't mind if I introduce you to mama, wouldn't you?" Jolyne asks, you cannot help but giggle a little at the scene. Your daughter had such a wide imagination.

"K says yes." Jolyne beams.

"His name is K and he's usually shy around people." You take a mental note of it, dismissing it as your daughter projecting onto her imaginary friend.

"He also tells me he likes being around you, mama." You smile a bit at the comment "He doesn't like papa a lot though." She frowns.

"And why doesn't he like papa a lot?"

"Well, K says papa stole you from him. And that papa isn't always around for you. K also says that he'd be a much better papa than papa is." You cock a brow in response to your daughter's statement. Strange. You could've sworn it was just your daughter projecting onto an imaginary friend of sorts.

"K told me he used to be friends with you and papa. He also says that you both abandoned him. Is it true, mama?"

Ignoring your daughter's question and wanting to go more in depth on K's description despite being somewhat terrified of the implications, you decide to ask some more "C-can you tell me what K looks like?"

"I have a drawing of K!" Jolyne grins as she runs and scavenges her room for the drawing. "K says he likes my drawing a lot!"

Jolyne hands you over the drawing and your heart drops.

"This is K. He likes cherries a lot." The six year old girl chirps, pointing to her drawing proudly "And also you, mama!"

"Jolyne." You look at your daughter right in the eyes, terrified of what she had drawn.

Red hair. Green Uniform. Jet black eyes that showed no soul. And a gaping hole in his chest.

"Who did you actually draw, Jolyne?" Jolyne doesn't answer.

"Jolyne, answer me." You continue, voice much more stern than the last.

Jolyne points at the wall behind you.

At the corner of your eye is Kakyoin Noriaki's ghost.
