Oliver has been avoiding me this entire week. It's been three days since that weird moment in the hallway when Nina told him the news about Lauren's transfer to our school. Speaking of Lauren, Nina doesn't seem to be the only one worked up by this. It's the topic of discussion for the entire student body. Even our teachers jump into the subject every so often during class.

I haven't seen her, but from the pictures I've seen and the things I've heard, turns out she's a real Barbie. Strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, perky boobs and a tiny waist, and oh, did I forget to mention she's like the teen idol for most pre-pubescent girls? I'm glad Oliver doesn't seem to be interested in that kind of girl, since hell, I'd never be able to compete. I've always had this somewhat, shy yet oddball exterior to myself, making me stand out when I really don't want to. I have long straight reddish-brown hair and dark brown eyes, and my skins this weird pale color that never goes past a peaches and cream tone. Nina thinks I dress like a college kid, which in her dictionary means that I dress too simple. It was true that I didn't put much effort into my outfit,  consisting of a pair of jeans and a random colored tank top with some black sandals.
