chan was extremely confused. it was his first day at his new school. since he had joined as a second year versus a first year, he knew no one.
right now the school day had ended and chan was wondering around, attempting to find the dance club. someone who seemed to be older than him approached the poor lost boy.
"hello! you look lost, could i help you?"
the boy asked.
"um yes please! i'm new to the school and i'm interested in trying dance club, but i can't seem to find the club room.."
chan explained.
the other boy chuckled.
"okay! i'm in the dance club, so i can help you there no problem. my name is xu minghao. yours is..?"
"lee chan."
the two boys conversed as they walked across the school's campus. chan learned that minghao was an exchange student from china who was a third year. he also explained how his boyfriend and best friend were in dance club as well.
soon enough the pair had reached the club room. minghao led him into the room where other people were stretching. a boy rushed up to minghao.
"hao!"
he yelled.
the boy tackled minghao into a hug.
"a little overdramatic are we junnie? i saw you this morning."
chan assumed that this was minghao's boyfriend. the two started talking and chan suddenly felt very awkward.
"oh! jun, this is chan! he's a new second year and he's looking into joining dance."
minghao introduced chan.
"hello chan! my name is wen junhui. most people call me jun though."
the boy smiled
"i'm a fourth year here."
soon enough the apparent leader of the club showed up. and chan swears it did something to his heart.
kwon soonyoung, leader of the dance club, was absolutely adorable.
chan already loved the older male's squishy cheeks.
"jun! hao! hello-
oh? who's this?"
soonyoung yelled out.
"soon! this is chan, he's looking to join the club."
minghao introduced him again.
"hello chan! i'm kwon soonyoung and i'm kind of the leader of this club."
he beamed proudly.
minghao and jun rolled their eyes. chan looked down, he suddenly felt really shy. the three conversed and he couldn't stop stealing glances at soonyoung. he just seemed so... pretty.
his hair was a pretty blonde color and he had an oversized sweater that had sleeves that flop around on. he was just so cute!
'chan stop thinking about that! you just met him..'
'but he's precious..'
his thoughts were interupted when soonyoung turned to him again.
"how about you join us for today, and if you like it, you can become an official club member!"
chan nodded at the idea, still being shy. the practice went by mostly uneventful. at the end of it, chan knew he really wanted to be a part of the team. soonyoung totally didn't play any part of it either.. yeah..
chan got caught staring at him by minghao.
"don't worry, he thinks you're quite cute too. i can tell."
minghao spoke.
chan flinched, he hadn't realized minghao caught him.
"you really think so?"
minghao nodded. chan looked down. soonyoung finished talking to the group after they all packed their stuff up.
everyone was just about to leave when-
"chan! could i talk to ya for a second?"
soonyoung asked.
chan obliged and stayed back.
"i really liked having you here today channie! i hope you choose to continue coming. here's my number, please let me know what you decide."
and with that, soonyoung ran off, saying he had to go. chan just stood there, kind of shocked. when he got home, he decided to finally text the number.
