jun was confused to say the least when he found minghao crying in the bathroom. the younger was balled up and shaking. the boy's phone was a few inches away from him, screen still illuminated.
"minghao? what's wrong?"
junhui asked him.
minghao looked up, tear stained face, and just shook his head. he tried to speak but words just wouldn't come out. he had read an article about a very disturbing murder that took home in the pairs home country of china.
he was just looking for a hello-kitty themed present for seungkwan (the younger having mentioned thinking it was cute) but instead it led him to the hello kitty murder case. it sent him into a panic as he read about how they kidnapped her and tortured her and-
jun looked at the younger's phone screen and understood. even though minghao wasn't the type to find many things triggering, he didn't handle stuff like this well.
"oh hao.."
jun took the slightly shorter boy into his arms.
the two sat on the floor of the bathroom for a while before the rest of the members got home. performance team hadn't had practice, but hoshi and chan had both gone out. the silence (other than minghao's sniffles) was broken when joshua walked into the bathroom.
"yeah, i'll be back in just a second jeonghan-"
he stopped when he saw the two,
"jun? hao? what's up?"
minghao looked up at both his hyungs with red eyes and listened to jun explain how he had seen something that caused him to panic. just the mere thought of reading any more about it caused him to start crying again.
"oh hao.. c'mere."
joshua pulled the younger boy up and into a hug.
"it's okay now.. you're okay."
when the two older men calmed minghao down, they all three walked to the living room. everyone else had been sitting in there, wondering what was up. jun once again explained what happened.
"i was looking for a present for kwannie.. i didn't mean to come across the case.."
minghao mumbled out to the group.
"it's okay hao. you're gonna be fine! all 12 of us are here with you!"
seungcheol spoke up, having dealt with panic attacks of his own in the past.
in the end, all of them cuddled up in the living room and had a movie marathon. which lead to minghao sleeping in jun's bed for the night.
"pleaseeeee hyung?? just for tonight?"
obviously jun couldn't say no.
