The cursed day had finally arrived, Valentine's Day. Bakugo never understood why people thought this blasted day was "fun" or "romantic" but his opinion aside he really needed to get his dumbass boyfriend a gift. They were in their third year having started dating the year before. He knew that Tenya wouldn't mind if he didn't get him anything he always felt like shit every time he forgot a important date.

Katsuki eyes browsed over the candy isle. He had already gotten one of Tenya's favorite books and a card he just needed some sweets.
He finally settled on some simple slightly expensive box of Caramel chocolates. Putting he gifts in his bag after paying he quickly rushed to UA he couldn't afford to be late.

—TIME SKIP—

Classes were finally over and Katsuki was waiting on Tenya's bed for him to return with the gift he apparently had store someplace other than his bag. This worried katsuki. It wasn't a big secret that Tenya was loaded or that he loved to spoil his boyfriend, however katsuki hated how easily the slightly taller male could one up all his gifts. He felt like a bad boyfriend never being able to afford anything as expensive or extravagant as the things Tenya would buy. And that was saying a lot as katsuki could get some pretty expensive things seeing both his parents were in charge of their own fashion company and that pays really fucking well. Like for Tenya's birthday earlier that year he had saved for an expensive watch (that his boyfriend owned multiple of but the point still stands). Katsuki was pulled out of his thoughts by his boyfriend walking in. "Katsu I retrieved your gift" the blue haired male told his boyfriend as he sat down on the bed, a big box in his hands. "Well what is it?" The Pomeranian questioned already annoyed by the size of the box. "I got mei to make you an upgraded version of your gauntlets. It did cost be quite a bit though. That's not a big deal anyways I had the money" Katsuki stared at the guantlets, they where exactly like the design he had in his notebook. "Don't tell me you.." "yes I looked into your notebook for ideas on how to upgrade it, I really hope you don't mind but mei needed to know what she had create" Tenya interrupted his boyfriend to explain himself. Katsuki let out an annoyed snarl as he placed the box on Tenya's desk, " oh fuck you!" Tenya was taken a back, was the gift he got not satisfactory? "Is there something wrong? Do You you not like your gift?" He questioned carefully noting that his boyfriend was on edge. "No you idiot it's amazing," katsuki relpied sitting down with an exasperated sigh " that's the fucking problem! You always one up all of my gifts and make them look like absolute dog shit compared to the stuff  you get me!" Realizing the Reality of the situation Tenya chuckled " is that really what's bothering you?" "YES!!!!" Sighing softly Tenya pulled katsuki into his chest as he laid back onto his bed, " if it bothers you so much how about we put a price limit on the case we can get each other?" The blue haired boy reasoned. His ashy blonde boyfriend replied with a small "20,000¥ is the limit. Got it?" "Hmm okay let's just cuddle now you can give me the gift you got later" Tenya said already nuzzling his face into katsuki's hair. The smaller boy got comfortable in his arms, mumbling " don't think this means I forgave you, rich bastard..." before dozing off.
