We arrived at the theatre. It was a local indie place that featured new movies along with out dated and unknown movies. Kyle and I came here on the regular.

"Where'd they say they were?" I asked. He pulled out his phone and opened his messages. I saw my name under "BAE AF" with wedding ring emojis and sparkles. I laughed and remembered how I had him in my phone as "Fuckboy" with derogative emojis. I changed it to "Hubby" right then and there.

"They're at the concession hut." He said as he clicked his phone to black.
My stomach quivered.

"Great because I'm hungry af! Let's go!" I grab his right hand and lead him to the side of the building where the concession stuff was, along with other delectable vendors. Kwame and Karenna were in the front of the line. They were receiving all of their food when we spotted them.

4:10 pm

"Kwame! Karenna!" I shouted. I let go of Kyles hand and they shuffled towards us. We all hugged and laughed.

"So what are we going to see?" I asked.

"They're playing the Boy in the Striped Pajamas!" Karenna squealed. Kwame took a handful of her popcorn and stuffed it in his mouth and nodded.

"What's it about?" Kyle tilted his head to the side. I rolled my eyes at him.

"It's only the saddest movie about a nazis son who meets a little Jewish boy!" Kwame blurts out.

Kyle frowned. "That sounds depressing. How about The Fault in our Stars?"
I laughed.

"Again? You and I have watched that movie about 25 times now!"

"I like it for the adventure." He said defensively.

"Pft, yeah, and the kinky cancer sex." I added.

He laughed and pushed me lightly. I take some of Karenna's popcorn and throw it at him. Some of it gets caught in his hair. He backs up and chuckles as he brushes the popcorn onto the rain kissed ground. Karenna rolled her eyes.

"Well how about Kwame and I go see The Boy In the Striped Pajamas, and you two go watch The Fault in our Stars,"

Kyle pouted. "Then it's not a get-together!" I place my hand on his shoulder, "It's alright, one more time can't hurt," I give him a reassuring smile. It works and he smiles back.

"Okay then! We can meet up here after our movies I guess," Kwame sighed. "You two have fun! But not too much fun," They both started to laugh hysterically, and walked to the other side of the building to purchase their tickets.

4:21 pm

Kyle looked at the showtime signs nearby, "Well according to the signs, our movie doesn't start 'til 7,". I groan. 3 hours? What are we going to do for three whole hours. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas was starting in a couple of minutes, but I really didn't want to see that movie either. My stomach starts bitchin' again.

"Woah there hungry hungry caterpillar, I can hear your stomach from here! Want something to eat?" I nod. We begin to walk around.

"Omgeezus, I haven't eaten anything all day.. I think,"
He chuckles.

The smells are incredible. The theatre allows local people to set up stands and food trucks around here for others to enjoy.

4:36 pm

"Man it feels like I'm having a nosegasm!" Kyle exclaims. I laugh uncontrollably, and he breaks out in tears. After we're done goofing around like idiots, one scent picks us both up like leaves in the wind: Bobs Kabobs. It's the best kabob stand I've ever been to. In fact, it's the only one I've ever been to. They've been out of town for a while.
