Ever since I heard about untamed going to be a series, I had been fighting to get selected. For once, thanks to my cold character I got selected for the role Lan Wangji who is also cold. His character is similar to mine in many ways. But we also have differences.

Lan wangji a.k.a Lan Zhan is a character who is very cold and speaks very less to everyone and doesn't smile either. Me, on the other hand, is exactly the same when it comes to strangers. But can be the opposite when it comes to people I like. For example, me with UNIQ is my true self which I don't easily show to others. I categorize people in three types - strangers, people I know but isn't close, and people I love.

The shooting of Untamed lasted four months from April to August and we had extra days together for martial arts practices. During this time I met Xiao Zhan again. He was so handsome that I couldn't take my eyes of him for a moment. His smile, his eyes, all his features are just perfect. He is a bit taller than me. He was the only one I felt most comfortable with, because of his character and because I have known him before. Even though we have had meetings before in Day Day Up and at Produce 101, we have never talked to each other nor have we looked at each other face to face. But here as time went by the two of us became even more closer. I was glad he was there with me for most of the scenes. He was selected for the role of Wei Wuxian a.k.a Wei Ying. Lan Zhan's boyfriend whom he later marry. The novel Mo Dao Zu Shi is actually a bl novel. But due to Chinese laws, all romantic scenes between the two had to be deleted. I feel a bit disappointed now when I think about it.

One of the main reason for me to kept on trying to get selected in to the untamed is because I wanted to be closer to Xiao Zhan. But I never thought that I would actually fall for Xiao Zhan, a guy!!. Every second I spent with him was beautiful. He knew how to make me laugh, and mad. Throughout the shooting I kept following XZ like a puppy and fight with him like a child. I guess all men would be childish when they are with their love. I didn't realise my own feelings for XZ until the he started to give me cold shoulders. I didn't knew why he was so cold to me on the award ceremony or why his coldness hurts me so badly. I never cared about others. But now I know, I know he is special. I know Zhan-ge only thinks of me as a friend and nothing more. I don't want him to know how I feel about him as I'm scared, it might have bad effect on our friendship. He is only recovering from having a hard time b'cuz of the "227 incident". I feel bad for him. AO3 controversy had its impact on both our lives and his career. For me it was mainly cyber bullying while for Zhan ge it was a combination of cyberbullying as well as his career destruction.

Few days after the award ceremony, he called me and apologized to me for ignoring me. He said he had to do that for both our future. I was happy he isn't mad and we were still in contact.
