TRIGGER WARNING: slight accidental self-harm
I was shaving my legs in the shower,
I cut my knee by accident
It felt good for a second,
The blood trickling down my leg and fading pink into the water
But then it stung
It reminded me that I was weak
If I couldn't handle a single cut
How the hell could I handle the world?
But it made me feel brave
Sure, I may not be able to handle a cut
But I can handle words thrown like razorblades at me
I can even throw sharper words back
I crept downstairs, washed, and put a Bandaid on my leg
I am stronger than a cut
A/N: I was in a weird mental state when I wrote this, I wrote it a couple of weeks ago
Im ok now.
