This is just another ending from the previous one. Maybe a little more lighthearted<3 Maybe a shorter version-
The emptiness in his heart, the numbness pounding his brain, the saline tears that flowed unchecked from his eyes, the shear nothingness that now took hold of his soul threatened to engulf him entirely. His legs buckled, knees sinking into the sodden earth; Lion knelt down in front of Gustave, placing a hand on his shoulder. "She fought hard..."
"C'mon... Up you get. She wouldn't want you to be upset..." Lion utters, elevating Gustave up from the ground. "...Thank you, Lion. At least I know she hadn't perished alone."

The grief came in waves and threatened to consume him entirely. It was his master, for now. He was at the mercy of it's whims and at times it bit at him with such ferocity he feared it would leave him an empty shell.
It was late at night, Gustave sat alone in the bedsit, Alex asleep. He held close to him a picture of the once happy family together, saline pools enveloping the pliant surface of the frame. "I knew something wasn't right. Why... Why did you go..." Gustave chokes, resting the picture down, encompassing his head within his hands; " "Why..." His fatigued gaze peers over to the side of the table which held his pistol.
Unsteadily he moves his hand toward the revolver, picking up the rigid firearm, he aimed it toward himself. His index placed on the trigger, he clenched his eyes shut.
A knock radiated from the door, "Gustave? It's me, Lion..." Placing down the gun slowly, he opens his eyes. Unsteadily he arose from the sofa, making his way other to the door.
"W..What is it, Lion?" Gustave stammers, his emaciated face ashen. "Well..I.. I want to resolve our conflict." Lion responds, "May I come in?" Gustave scrunches up his nose for a second before taking a stand back and gesturing Lion inside. "...Why is there a gun on the table, Gustave?" He didn't respond, his strands of grey and black intertwining with one another as he gazes down at the ground. "Don't tell me you were gonna do it... I get it's hard but Alexander needs you right now. He can't lose his mother then you." Lion mutters, Gustave remains taciturn. "I'll take this away from you." Lion declares, taking the firearm in his hand. "...So how do you suppose we resolve this." Gustave mutters, taking a seat near Lion.
"Well... I want to apologise f..for what happened to your colleague. I also want to apologise for the regrettable events I made (Y/n) endure." Lion tracks his hand through his silky hair, trying to make eye contact with the the detached man. "...It's fine. As (Y/n) said, it's what's best for the team. You're forgiven... Can I ask a favour?" Lion nods, a bit perplexed at Gustave's clemency of him. "Can... You not go? Just for tonight. I'm scared for tomorrow, I'm scared to be left alone." Lion was silenced by such request but eventually agreed.

Gustave and Lion skirt around a pile of brown frosted leaves, the innumerable flashing fragments shine in the brilliant wintry light, for today there is no weather; no wind, no cloud, just subzero temperatures. Even the leaf stems lie white and sharp.
Gustave and Lion found themselves dressed in a dark jacket and cords, just like every other member of their team six family. "Gustave you look awful..." Gilles remarks, giving his friend a quick hug. "I feel it. I don't think I can carry her..." Pearl-shaped streams began trekking down his face, "You don't have to do it. You know?" Gilles mutters, choking back his own saline streams. Without a word being said, a black hearse arrived.
Gustave was in an attitude of profound distress beneath a projecting mass of rock. The hands of this man hung limply over his knees, his eyes were red dismal and his face was wet with tears.
Inhaling a shaky breath, Gustave, Gilles, Jame's, Mike, Elias, and Lion stood up. "You'll be alright, mate." Jame's utters, his usual comical demeanour had departed. The others too.
Approaching the black vehicle, the men place themselves either side of the car, three standing opposite of one another. Pushing down their weight into their legs, they position the casket onto their shoulders, heaving it in place. "You alright, bud...?" Elias utters behind Gustave. "I...I'll be fine."

*Gustave's P.O.V*
Struggling to hold back the grief, tears flow steadily, silently down immobile face, feel bruised inside, numbness, emptiness. Saying goodbye although she is gone already, the soul unwilling to acknowledge the finality of death, never to look upon their face again or feel their embrace, see the warmth in their eyes, be surrounded by their love. Words from the minister, speeches at the service bring a fresh onslaught of tears, well spoken words, a tribute to their life and loves, everyone in black, dusky pink roses on the casket, watching casket lowered into the grave through tear-strained eyes. Good-bye my love.
The symphony of the birds began to twitter from the trees above as the casket was lowered into the very soil. Everyone expressed their goodbyes, regrets, and respect. This momentous occasion was something no one ever wished to be greeted to this quickly, she was only young, a loving wife and mother taken away from bestowed betrayal and upmost jealousy.
Marius soon arrived with Alex in his arms, releasing the young boy from his grip. Alex immediately ran into his father's outstretched arms, "Daddy!" Gustave lifts his son up in such heartening embrace. "You look so smart!" Gustave remarks, a sincere smile beginning to dance across his lips. "Uncle Marius helped me!" smiling up at the German, Gustave nods, denoting a thanks to him. "She was an amazing woman, Gustave. She was more than this world ever deserved." Marius states, "She... was. She really was an amazing woman." Gustave utters, his eyes streaming with tears at the thought of her. "Daddy why are you crying?" Gustave smiled at Alex, "I'm not crying... Just allergies." Alexander having no mental compass yet, nods at his father. "Where's mummy?" Alex asks, his voice cheery with no understanding of what has happened. "She's... She.." - "She's an angel, watching over you." Marius assists the undoubtedly sentimental man. "Mummy - angel?" Gustave and Marius nod, "Angel!" Alexander says aloud and merry whilst pointing up at the clear blue sky.
Gustave's grip on his son tightened in a comforting way, "Would you like to place these flowers down?" Gustave's questions, gently placing his son down. "Yea!" Alexander squeals blithely as Gustave gives him the bouquet of flowers.Gazing up at the azure sky, "Healing was your passion wasn't it, dear? You certainly healed me in many ways I can't explain, though I'm thankful for everything. Thank you for our son who I promise to love and protect him with all my power. Thank you for the time I had with you, Rest easy now, sweetheart. I love you and only you." Alexander than gently sets down the flowers on the casket. Marius seats his hand on Gustave's shoulder as the others returned.
Mike, Elias, Lion, Jame's, Monika and Gilles all knelt onto their knees, honouring (Y/n). Gustave and Marius beginning to do the same.
Red, orange and yellow, in various different shades. All of them floating gracefully on the soft breeze. It was as if a friendly hand was gently lowering them to the ground. Whispers between these leaves filled the air, whispers and mutters. The air was cool and crisp, like a refreshing drink of cool water after hours in a desert. The breeze fluttered around, gently caressing everything it touched with fingers that had been a comfort to so many over their long, lonely years. A gentle smile splaying across Gustave's lips.
I'm sorry these endings are shit :(
Epilogue anyone?
