They say right before death, a reel of all memories appear before oneself. They did, all at once.
"Be safe, okay? I love you dearly, (Y/n)."
The embrace was something they never considered to be their last.
It was the end, she knew it was. The betrayal she never sought possible.

"Lion and Marius, scope out the upstairs. (Y/n) and I will restrain the bar and kitchen." Dominic instructs.
Lion and Marius begin to repel up the wall to the rooftop as (Y/n) and Dominic proceed from the ruin entrance.
"Everyone's two-way radio in check?" (Y/n) addresses through the walkie-talkie. "All good on this end, (Y/n)." Lion responds. "Proceed."
-
"Lion, set it off. We need to know what we're dealing with." (Y/n) edicts through the radio, static transmitting as she disables it to ensure their position isn't given away. Having that said, Lion's EE-ONE-D had trembled the entire vicinity. "Downstairs is vacant. Upstairs is cluttered with hostiles. What do you suppose we do?" Lion states through the radio. "Take whomever you can out from the roof. We'll make our way up soon. Good luck, Over."
As (Y/n) and Dominic advanced nearer up the steps silently, they observed two forlorn hostiles. Dominic drew a knife from his combats, signalling (Y/n) to do the same. Dominic counted down on his digits - drawing closer to the credulous hostiles, they delved the blades into the corner of their necks. Bodies falling inanimately into their arms so they wouldn't fall with a thud, preventing any alert to other nearby enemies.
Raising a hand, (Y/n) peers around the corner, jolting back immediately when she notices more than just two hostiles. "This will make or break this entire operation. It'll alert them all." (Y/n) utters to Dominic. Dominic peers down for a second, evidently thinking of how to play this out. "Look away." He whispers, launching a flash down the hallway.
Both (Y/n) and Dominic heaved out from their hiding, firearms firing with zero uncertainty and hesitation. One by one, fresh corpses descended to the floor. "Lion, Marius, advance in and get the hostage!" (Y/n) commands as Dominic and her continued forward. The game begun, it was time to win.
(Y/n) and Dominic continued to push forward, blood beginning to settle in their uniform, leaving crimson blemishes spotted around them from their adversaries. Whilst they stopped firing, gunshots persisted from the second floor VIP Lounge. This promoted the pair to forward on to the area.
(Y/n) held her hand up in a fist, halting the pair from moving forward. Kneeling down, she removed her hand from the air and placed it onto the floor. Immediately she spun around and shot, she shot them. Regrettably not in time, as Dominic held his gut behind her. (Y/n) prompted to his aid, "Hostage secured, evacuating the vicinity now!" Lion assures from radio, "Dominic is down, we'll be out soon. Just make sure the hostage is secured."
-
"Right... Hold still." (Y/n) utters as she positions Dominic against the wooden wall. "I'm going to have to lift you up from your back. Bare with me..." As (Y/n) inclines to Dominic, her radio manages to slip out of her pocket, as it had collided with the floor, the button to activate it was turned on.
