*A/N: this is my first fanfic so sorry if it's kinda trashy. Me and my friends do write each other fanfic sometimes but we have a "prompt" to write. Anywho, on to the fic!*

Mondo Owada had a somewhat small group of a few friends. They were all sitting at a table together waiting for the orientation to start. Sadly the majority of them were in the reserve course , so Mondo didn't have any classes with them besides art, music, and gym. Two of his friends, Yasuhiro Hagakure and Leon Kuwata, were luckily accepted into the academy as the Ultimate Clairvoyant and the Ultimate Baseball Star.
"Dude, if you want to drop baseball that bad, just do it. I'm sure there's someone who'll help you get your voice trained to sing," their friend, Zankoku, said.
"Oi, I heard the Ultimate Pop Sensation is gunna be here this year, maybe you could talk to her," Fauru suggested .
"Yea and maybe you could date her~" Gen'yu yelled quietly in a flirtatious voice.
"Nah, she ain't my type. Pop is too upbeat for me. I'd rather train under Ibuki Mioda," Leon said, scrolling through his phone.
"Whatcha doin bro?" Hiro asked leaning over Lee's shoulder.
"Asking Buki if she'll help train my voice," he replied.
"You have her number?" The clairvoyant asked, clearly confused.
"Yea, me and her go way back. She has been a good friend of mine since preschool," he explained.
The bell rang loudly throughout the halls indicating that the boys' time was up and Mondo, Lee, and Hiro had to go to the gym while the other three had to go to a different building.
"Bro, you've been quiet for the entire time. Ya good?" Hiro asked forgetting what had happened to his friend a few months ago.
"You fucking dumbass! Did you push it out of your brain? Just keep something in that empty head of yours for once!" Lee yelled at the older man.
Leon and Yasuhiro were the only two friends of Mondo's who knew about it. Mondo still looked down at his feet. Normally, he walked straight up with a serious expression on his face. Like how a hall monitor walks when they were just about to hand you a filled-out detention slip after they caught you trying to sprint to your next class. For these past few months, Mondo had been blaming himself for what happened to his brother. He thought- no, he knew what happened to Daiya was all his fault. Lee hung out with him a lot to try and comfort him. He had cried so much he had marks from his tears on his cheeks so he just covered them with a long line of eyeliner.
"I'm sorry for being so bland guys," Mondo said quietly.
"No dude, it's fine! You're not bland! You just need sometime to heal! Like how your arm needed to heal when you bruised it when we roller skated in gym during 6th grade!" Lee said trying to cheer up his friend.
"I don't know what I'd do without you," Mondo said engulfing Leon in a hug.
While he was hugging Leon, Mondo remembered that moment like it was yesterday. They were skating but he had no idea how to. And instead of using the cart, he went off on his own and bounced his elbow off the floor and scraped his knee. When him, Hiro, and Lee got to Lee's house and took off their coats the three of the noticed a huge bruise forming on Mondo's elbow.
"That's what you get for not using the cart dummy!" Leon had yelled throwing an ice pack at him.
The ice pack had hit him in the face hard enough to make his nosebleed.
"You boys need to stop hurting yourselves and each other!" Leon's father had said while he was helping Mondo clean up his nose.
While walking to the gym, Mondo bumped into someone and fell on top of them.
"You need to watch where you're going!" They yelled.
Mondo sat up and let the other person get up. He looked up for a split second and saw the person he bumped into was a slim yet slightly muscular man with black hair, red eyes, and a white uniform.
"S-sorry," Mondo said quietly still looking down.
With a build like that, I would have expected him to insult or yell at me, Kiyotaka thought.
"Bro! Are you ok?" A slim redhead said running to him.
"Y-yea I'm fine," he said.
Yasuhiro came up, wrapped his arm around Mondo's shoulder, and lead him into the gym.
"Sorry about Mondo. He's in a tough spot right now," Leon said rubbing the back of his head and looking down.
"If you guys don't mind me asking, what happened to him? If it's something I have to keep secret," he said hitting his hand on his chest. "I promise not to tell anyone no matter how much they ask!"
Leon got real close and whispered in his ear. When he stepped back, Kiyotaka looked like he had just seen a ghost.
"That's horrible! No wonder he looked so lost!" He exclaimed covering his mouth with his hand, his face completely filled with fear.
"Me and Yasuhiro are the only two who know about Daiya," Leon continued.
"Well, you have my word! My mouth is completely shut!" He exclaimed showing a zipper motion over his mouth.

"Good morning everyone!" The principal exclaimed.
Kiyotaka and Leon went to track down Mondo and Hiro so Kiyotaka could get to know the two of them.
A girl with lilac hair who was about their age, a young woman with orange hair, a man with curly green hair, and another man with short white hair walked up to the small stage with the principal.
"My name is Jin Kirigiri, the two women next to me are Kyoko Kirigiri, my daughter, and Chisa Yukizome, the home room teacher." He said.
Kyoko just slightly waved her hand while Chisa smiled and waved.
"The two men are Kyosuke Munakata, the vice-chairman of the Future Foundation, and Juzo Sakakura, the head of security," he said gesturing to them.
Kyosuke stood with his arms crossed and Juzo stood with his hands on his hips.
"This Juzo guy is giving off major gay bottom energy," Hiro whispered to the other three.
Mondo and Leon chuckled slightly while Kiyotaka gave him a death glare. Kyoko came around and handed everyone a key and Chisa handed everyone a small handheld device.
"The keys Kyoko are passing out are for your dorm rooms which you will share with one other person. The devices Chisa are passing out are your digital notebooks. They display your full name, school regulations, your schedule, your roommate's name and talent, and even a few details about yourself like your birthday, blood type, things you like and dislike, and your measurements." He explained with a completely serious expression.
"Hey Mondo!" Kiyotaka said turning his notebook to him. "Looks like we're roommates!"
Mondo looked up at him and showed a small smile and then went back to staring at his feet. Kiyotaka looked at Leon with a worried expression and then wrapped an arm around Mondo's shoulders and gave him a warm smile. Mondo tilted his head up and returned the warm smile. When he tilted his head up, Kiyotaka noticed blush spreading across his face.
"Classes start next week, you all are dismissed," Mr. Kirigiri said.

Mondo and Kiyotaka walked to their room and Kiyotaka locked the door behind him.

"Well, since we're roommates, we may as well get to know each other!" Kiyotaka beamed.
