I got to take the carriages with the twins, Lee and Angelina rode with her friends. When we got into hogwarts it's as if I was back home, I missed this place greatly.
"Kiley?" I turned around to see Luna Lovegood staring at me with a smile.
"Hello Luna." I grinned giving her a hug.
"I thought the Nargles took you." She said with her dreamy expression never faulting.
"What if it was wrackspurts?" I teased.
"I'm glad you're back, I think Harry will need you this year."
"Harry can take care of himself." I stated cooly.
"He'll need your help," She said, "It's like my Dad always says, it takes more courage to ask for help then it does to face it alone." She smiled at me.
"Very Wise of him to." I said, "I gotta hurry Luna I have to be resorted." I waved goodbye to Luna and Lee the twins gave me a hug for a goodbye and I ran to the great hall to meet Professor Mcgonagall. She smiled at me and led me to the stool along with some first years. Dumbledore walked to the podium.
"Welcome everyone before we begin I would just like to give a warm welcome to an old student of hogwarts, Kiley Lupin Black. She was a student here a couple years ago but moved to america since, she is now back for her final year and is to be resorted. With that we may begin the sorting." He said moving swiftly to sit back in his chair. I was very awkward after that and Mcgonagall basically pushed me towards the stool. I sat down nervously and looked at the underneath of the hat.
"Well Ms. Lupin Black, you've changed since the last time I saw you, you are still so much a Ravenclaw but you have just as much gryffindor, I don't know if you want this but I have to go with GRYFFINDOR!" The hat squaled, I quickly got up and ran to sit next to the twins as my robes changed to gryffindor robes, but the style of my skirt changed to a red and gold plaid pattern and my tie was also now red and gold my robe had a gryffindor seal on it now. I sat down on the bench inbetween the two twins and they gave me a kiss on the cheek and hugged me squishing my shoulder together.
"Can't...breath." I said, mostly just teasing them.
"Sorry." They said together and George moved his hug to my waist while Fred pulled away. Fred looked between me and George then looked away and started his own conversation with Lee. I felt my cheeks get hot and I didn't know how to hide it so I turned my face away from George. I did not like George like that we only met about a month ago there is no way that I like him. Ok maybe there's a way that I do but he did not need to know that. Soon Dumbledore got up for his speech and George let go of my waist as we all turned to listen to hi.. I was kind of spaced up until I heard a a high pitched
"A-hem." I jusmped at the sound of her voice. I lookdd at the woman, she was dressed in all pink and resembldd a short toad, she seemed shorter than me. "I'm sure we're all going to be good friends." She said with a fake smile.
"That's Likely." I snorted at the twins words. The woman turned to me as my hands sprang to cover my mouth. Fred and George gave me a wide smile as the toad lady just glared at me. I buried my face in Fred's shoulder to cover my laughter. Fred hugged me letting a chuckle quietly escape from his lips as Umbridge took her eyes off us. I calmed down after she sat down and food appeared on the table. They had chicken wings and my personal favirote pizza. I grabbed 4 or 5 slices setting them on my plate and taking an extra to eat right then and there. As I bit into my second slice Everyone began talking. Hermione looked between me and Ron in disgust.
"Do you two ever stop eating?" She asked annoyed. Ron just raised his shoulders in defence where as I swallowed the food in my mouth and with a smile I shook my head.
"Never." I laughed sarcastically taking another bite of my third slice now.
I had finished eating when the Twins shook my by shoulders. I jumped at the sudden contact and they stopped shaking me. I looked between them.
"What?" I asked annoyed. They had a worried look on their face and my expression softened.
"We've been trying to talk to you for five minutes." Fred stated his expression slowly but surely becoming less worried. George's never faltered though.
"What were you thinking about?" George asked me. He put his hand on my thigh his eyes meeting mine. That was the problem I hadn't been thinking, at all my mind just shut down after Hermikne scolding me.
"Nothing." I said with a shrug of my shoulders. George didn't look convinced but decided to change the subject anyway.
"Well we got your attention for a reason." George laughed lightly never lifting his hand from my leg instead it moved a bit higher.
"We were wondering what your classes were." Fred said through the silence as my cheeks grew red from George's contact. I shook off the butterflies in my stomach quickly and we began to discuss our classes, almost all of my classes were with the twins. I only had one class without them. My care of magical creatures class. I had signed up for this class as I adored magical creatures and would love to be what muggles call a vet for them. A vet is basically a doctor for animals but seeing as I am now helping Fred and George run their joke shop I would have to wait a bit. I would still get my degree though, that's one thing I knew I needed.
I was officially ready for this year with Fred and George by my side I was optimistic of my last year. It wil be amazing, I thought. Little did I know this was just the beginning.
