You and Me

Anna's POV:
Today was gonna be a long day. We were going to the Wish house to hangout and get some content. Then we had an event at around 7.
But right now I was just trying to wake my self up. I had rolled over and saw Eva lying there. I don't completely remember her coming in, I was probably half asleep. I didn't wake her up, I just laid in my back and stared at the ceiling. This was my chance to do some thinking.

I really like Eva. She is my person. I feel comfortable around her nothing ever feels off. I just don't want to mess things up. Because if something happens I could lose her and I don't know what I'll do without her in my life. I want her to be my girlfriend. Yes of course I do. But, what if we're moving to fast? I don't want to mess up our relationship. I should just go for it, Anna no too fast but...

"Hey, good morning"

I turned my head and saw Eva smiling at me,"morning"

"You look stressed, what's wrong?"

"Nothing"

"You sure?"

"Yep"

To help change the subject I leaned on my forearm and gave her a kiss. After we pulled away she went back in for another one. It helped my mind calm down. I needed it.

~time skip to the after noon at the wish house~
Eva's POV:
We had gotten to the wish house about an hour ago and we were just hanging out. We were sitting on couch talking. I was doing some thinking.

Things have been different today. Anna has been distant. This morning after we had gotten out of bed she didn't really talk much. We had gotten ready and when I had went back to her room to check on her she just smiled and we went downstairs. She usually would give me a hug to say something about my outfit. Even before we were a "thing". Every time I tried getting close to her she seemed off.

I decided to try again. She was sitting on the other side of the room, so I got up and made my way over there. I said down next to her but have her a more little space than usual, which I did not like doing.

"Hey are you ok?"

"Yeah why?" She didn't even look at me.

"You just seem off today, did I do something?"

"No you're fine." She was still looking ahead of her.

"Anna, things don't seem fine. Bubba what's going-"

"Eva. I'm fine." She said it with a voice I have never heard her use before. She got up and walked over to where Katie and Lee were standing.

Fuck.

~time skip to when they had gotten home from the event (boohoo event)~
Tonight at dinner it was even worse. She barely made eye contact with me. I totally fucked this up. I needed to talk to her but I knew she was still upset m. So I went to Katie.

She was in her room on her phone when I walked in.

"Hey Eva what's up?"

"Have you talked to Anna today?"

"Yeah why?"

"Has she said anything about, um, us?"

"Not to me no. Is everything ok?"

"I don't know she's been distant today. Like she doesn't want to be around me."

"Eva, you're like the one person she always wants to be around no matter what."

"Yeah well it didn't seem like that today."

"Look I don't know what else to say except that you should try taking to her again. That's probably the best solution."

"Yeah you're right. Do you know where she is?"

"I heard her go out by the fire pit, she's probably still there."

"Ok thanks Katie you're the best." I have her a hug before heading out to the backyard.

Sure enough there she was sitting by the fire pit. I was able to see the left side of her. She had her thinking face on but it was also mixed with her upset face. That scared me.

I walked up to the chair next to hers and sat down. I didn't say anything, we just sat there for a good five minutes.

"Hey" I needed to break the silence.

"Hi" Her voice sounded raspy and tired. She still didn't look at me.

"So you wanna tell me what's going on now?"

"A lot."

"I have time."

"E..."

"What?"

"I don't know if I can do this."
