Fixing Us

Anna's POV:
I had woke up feeling like shit. I don't know what time I fell asleep but I know it wasn't for long. I was up all night thinking about the chaos last night was.
I turned over. My heart broke again. Eva wasn't next to me.
I needed to do something. I know she said to think. So that's what I did, but I wasn't going to take a few days. I missed her.

Ok, I want to be with Eva and only Eva. I need to let Sab know that we are just friends. I love Sab don't get me wrong, but only as a friend. Eva is the only girl I want. I need to prove it to her. I need to talk to her. I'm going to talk to her. But first, I need to have a quick chat with Sab.

I gave myself a push and got out of bed. I took a shower and got my thoughts together.

I made my way over to Sab's room. I took a second before I knocked on the door.

"Yeah?"

I hesitated a little before opening the door. I walked in and looked at her. I didn't show any emotion.

She sat up,"Anna, hi."

"Hi. Sab we gotta talk-"

"Anna please let me go first," I stared at her for a second and then nodded,"I'm so sorry, I really should have thought about it before I acted. I feel really bad-"

"Don't lie."

"Anna I'm not! I'm sorry, I don't want to mess up our friendship. And I'm so sorry if I messed up what you and Eva have."

"Sab, all we are is friends, I love you and will always be here for you, but we are just friends. Got it?" She nodded her head.

"So are we okay?"

"Yeah we're alright, but I don't know about you and Eva."

"I don't blame her she probably wants to kill me." I giggled. I just sat and zoned out for a second.

"Heyyy, Anna you good?"

"Yeah I'm uh- just thinking about what I'm gonna say to Eva." Sab just gave me a small smile.

We chatted for a few minutes before I decide to go and see Eva.

While I was walking to her room I started to get nervous. My hands were getting sweaty and my thoughts were getting jumbled.

I finally reached her door. I took a breath and knocked.

"Um one sec," she sounded tired and I could tell she had been crying, shit,"come in."

Again, I hesitated before opening the door.

"Hey."

"Anna, um what um- what happened to a few days?"

"Trust me E, with the amount of thinking I've done it's felt like months." We just looked at each other. It was the most awkward I have felt around her in a while.

"Um- Eva I uh... I'm sorry."

"No anna I'm sorry."

"Wait what?"

"I never actually heard your side of the story. I was just so upset that I wanted to forget about it. But, now I am ready to listen."

She kinda threw me off guard. I was expecting her to get upset again. But I'm gonna take this opportunity to explain.

"Ok um well, Eva. I like you. And I wanna be with you only you. Sab and I are just friends and I'm sorry that it seemed like I wanted to be more than that with her. But I want you bub, only you. I'm sorry about last night. Can we maybe forget about it and start fresh? Because even though it was only one night away from you I hated it. It sucked not seeing you when I first woke up," I was on a roll,"I wanna hold you every night, I wanna see you every morning. I wanna smile at my phone when I text you. I want you eva. I love you."

Uh oh. Did I say that out loud? Fuck fuck fuck.
I closed my eyes, I didn't wanna know what was gonna happen.

Eva's POV:
My heart stopped. Not in a bad way though. I got butterflies. I smiled to myself before waking up to her.

Her eyes were shut so I grabbed her hands to get her attention,"Hey..."

She slowly opened her eyes and looked at me.

I put a smile on my face,"I love you too."

I saw a smile start to form on her face but I couldn't wait any longer. I pressed out lips together. It felt like forever since we had done that.

We put our foreheads together and laughed. I knew we would be ok.

"Hey stupid guess what..."

"What?" I responded.

"I love my girlfriend."

I laughed,"you're such a dork!"
