Ariana and William got back to their home, took some rest and got ready for their badminton practice. They both play badminton very well and this they time they were representing their school so they were pretty nervous about but their coach had faith in them.
It was 3:00 pm and they got ready for their practice and went to the city gymnasium. William and Ariana lived close by so they met in the station as they usually do. They boarded the train and from their station and waited for the gymnasium to come. The inter-school badminton tournament will take place next month.
As soon as William saw Ariana he said "Hey Ari, why looking so dull?"
Ariana looked at him as she was sad with something. "Hey Ari, What are you so tensed about?"
"Will, Will I win the inter-school treatment?",she said sadly. "Yes you will, why are you lossing your cool Ari? You love to badminton and you play well so nothing will happen. Just Chill we are gonna do it" he said which made her very happy.
Their station came and they got down from the metro and walked towards their gymnasium. Their coach was already present their and the other players were already there.
Ariana and William changed and joined the practice. Ariana was playing against Stephanie her upper classmate and Stephanie plays very well.
"Hey Steph can you teach me how you did that right now?" Ariana said. "This?" Steph asked. "Yes this! It's so awesome".
"Okay Ari I'll teach you this" Stephanie said which made Ariana very happy.
As Stephanie was teaching Ariana how to do that shot the coach called her and William.
They both came running towards the coach and asked why she called them?
"William and Ariana I want you both to play a match. You both are our strongest players, no doubt Stephanie and Aarav are very good players but I want to see you two play against each other once."
Both Ariana and William thought for a while and said "we got no problem coach!". Ms. Paulson was very happy that they decided to play against each other.
William and Ariana took a 10 minutes break and got ready to play against each other. They never played against each other so they were looking forward to it.
They took their positions and were ready to start. The coach blew the whistle and they started playing. Ariana was upto serve and she hit the shuttle very hard that William was unable to hit it. "Damn it Ari, give a bit slow!" he said. "Oooops! The next time I'll give it a bit slow.
Their match was a pretty tough one as both of the were great players. After 30 minutes their match ended and Ariana won it by 21 points. "Man! you play well Ari but the next time I'm gonna win it" said William to Ariana. "We will see to it Will!!" was her answer.
"Okay guys pack up. We are done for today. Again we are gonna meet this Saturday" said the coach and they left the gymnasium.
On the way Aarav said "Let's go have some food! I'm really hungry guys." Stephanie laughed and said "Yes yes let's go have some pizza toghther. What do you both say?" William and Ariana said "We are on but who's gonna give the treat?"
Steph who else other than you two. You played well so it's your treat.
William said "fine me and Ari will give the treat now let's go to the shop".
They all were talking and went to the pizza shop and took a seat and placed their orders and enjoyed themselves.
