Y/N and the others finally got out of Ryuchi Cave and came out of a forest.

"I think we made it out safely." Shikadai said

"So this means we're back?" Boruto asked

"Sends like it." Y/N said

"I wonder how far we wanted off. Anyway, I'm so glad, Chocho!" Sarada said

"Wait, what are you talking about? Come to think of it, my shoulders feel sorta heavy... and my memory's spotty here and there." Coco said

"Well, it might be better if you don't remember." Inojin said

"What is it? I wanna know!" Chocho said and Sarada laughs awkwardly

Y/N looks at the snake Mitsuki left

"Y/N." Sarada said

"Mitsuki isn't a traitor after all. We have to meet up with her and talk to her." Y/N said

"I told you all Mitsuki wasn't a traitor!" Boruto said

"Uh-huh!" Sarada said

"We can't be sure yet. From my viewpoint, Mitsuki might have gone with the Hidden Stone shinobi willingly." Shikadai said

"Even if she did, I'm sure she had a reason! Otherwise, she wouldn't have left the snake behind." Boruto said

"Not only that, those guys said the answer Mitsuki seeks is in the Land of Earth. I'm sure Mitsuki went with them to find out something that bothers him. And if that's so, even if I have to enter the Land of Earth, I'm not going back until I Mitsuki." Y/N said

"What a drag!" Shikadai groans

"I have a plan. Chocho and Inojin, go back to the village for now." Y/N said

"Huh?!" They said

"We've always been fine through tough times together, didn't we? I don't understand the reason why you're gonna separate us with Shikadai." Chocho asked

"That's right! It feels like you're discharging us from battle and I don't like it." Inojjn stood up and told Y/N

"You've got it all wrong. As things are, we won't be able to get to Mitsuki before she crosses into the Land of Earth. That's why we have to let the village know Mitsuki is innocent. We should let the village know before Mitsuki crosses the borders to the Land of Earth under suspicion bring a criminal." Y/N said

"But-!" Chocho was cut off by Shikadai

"Y/N's right. Moegi-sensei should be back at the village by now. Once our dads know what's going on and take action, it would be easy for them to bring us back as well as Mitsuki. The fact that they haven't already, means..." Shikadai said

"You think they're... waiting to see what happens?"Inojin asked

"Probably... That's why we have to notify the village about Mitsuki. And for that, you two are the perfect ones for the job." Y/N said

"I see. I got it." Inojin said

"Well, okay! I'm the type of woman that just can't refuse when a pretty boy is depending on me that much." Chocho said

"I'm sorry, Sarada. I won't be able to go with you." Chocho apologized

"It's okay. I totally agree with Y/N." Sarada said

"Now that's decided, we'd better hurry." Inojin said

"I'm counting on you two!" Y/N said

"Be careful." Sarada said
