CHAPTER SEVEN

"Taemin hyung!"

Jimin called the second he saw Taemin standing on the stage preparing for the performance. Taemin smiled at him with delight and was just about to walk towards Jimin when his manager stoped him.

"The show was about to start, go down to the MC's they will interview you first before the performance." The manager says giving him a warning look. He was just about to ignore the man and go to Jimin when the director mentioned cue to start the live broadcast.

Jimin looks at Taemin waving his head while muttering a silent words saying that it's ok and that he would be there until the performance ends.

Taemin walks behind the MC's mastering a fake smile.

"His new single WANT revolutionized oriental music due to it's provocative and HOT lyrics. Even lots of fans are calling it "The Asian Sexual Anthem". "

"That's right, here we have the singer behind this musical success! Taemin!"

The two MC's turns to the side to show the singer who impatiently waits for them to just shut up so he could just go straight to perform the song infront of Jimin. Ofcourse he wouldn't say it out loud, he has a reputation to maintain.

"Yes, hello guys." Taemin greeted waving his hand with a big smile in his face.

"Thank you for such a huge support for my new single, it wouldn't be a success because of my fans and this....certain someone."

"Oh...who's this certain someone we are talking about?" The MC asks full of curiosity .

Taemin's manager was about to stop him from answering but failed to do so as Taemin is already talking.

"Come on don't be like that! He's the producer of this song as well as my bestfriend."

Jimin heard all of it, he sensed something not right would happen but still keeps his smile towards Taemin who keep on glancing at him.

"Oh...we thought you already had a special someone, turns out that it was just your bestfriend. I'm sure many fans would still support you nonetheless."

The MC was about to say that the comeback stage would start when Taemin cuts him.

"My bestfriend was actually here, he's here to support me and you could actually ask him about the song as well." Taemin pointed Jimin with a hidden smirk.

To Jimin's horror the camera turns focus on him and the MC's starts to call him so he could join the interview. He wants to decline and just run straight to go home but he sees the pleading look in Taemin's eyes and so he joined the latter on the stage with an awkward smile.

"H-hello....I...I'm the producer and bestfriend of Taemin hyung, nice to meet you all."

"He's Jimin, isn't he pretty?" Taemin snaked his arms in Jimin's waist and pulls him closer to his side too close to Jimin's comfort.

"So we really wanted to know Jimin-ssi, who inspired you to create such phenomenal and sexy song?"

"I-...uhh" Jimin wanted to say the truth that it's Jungkook, his lover the CEO of KM Entertainment but he knows it would only caused such an issue, ofcourse everyone already knows that the cold, young, intelligent and competent with a handsome face CEO is already owned by the name of Park Jimin. He remembered how his blurred face is all over the entertainment news few years ago when someone take photos of them leaving the company together. Jungkook didn't denied it also.

But it would be a disrespect to the singer of the song to mention another person as an inspiration, and so he lied for the second today.

"Taemin hyung inspires me a lot since we all know how...
...sexy his performance, he uhh....supported me throughout the creation of it too he even helped me in some verses so....uhmm yes he inspired me quite a lot." Jimin finished with a smile.

Taemin knows it all a lie, he never helped Jimin on the song or even made some verses for it, but for him that's enough.

After all Jimin could lie to everyone for him, for his sake.
