{Deadass forgot I was editing this book already.}

Rudolph's mind went crazy when Tony asked him that and he felt his face warmed up as his body started to feel very numb.

"I-I mean I uhhhh... I l-"

"THERE YOU ARE!"

Rudolph cursed under his breath as he turned to see Anna walk up to them with their father behind her.

"Hey, Anna."

Tony said as he put on a smile and she ran up to him giving him a big hug and a kiss on the cheek.

Rudolph felt a stabbing feeling in his chest and quickly looked while rubbing his neck trying to pretend that he was popping it in a way.

His father looked over at him with his eyebrow raised seeing him fail at trying to act normal.

Rudolph noticed his father looking at him and
Quickly put his hands in his front pockets.

Before his father could say something Tony looked over at them.

"Hello, mister Sackville."

Rudolph was going to take this opportunity to slip away but his father quickly swept up next to him and caught him in a side hug.

"Please Tony call me Frederick. Now if you don't mind I'm going to have birthday boy here go rehearse for his party."

And with that he started to walk down the hall with a very confused Rudolph and Tony looked over at Anna with a shrug and they walked the opposite direction

Rudolph looked over his shoulder towards Tony and saw him smiling and laughing at something Anna had said.

He smiled softly as he liked seeing Tony happy but it still hurts just a bit.

"Rudolph?"

His head snapped to look at his father who actually had a worried look on his face.

"I'm sorry father."

He immediately stopped and looked at him with his frozen is disbelief.

"What are you apologizing to me for?"

He asked Rudolph as he placed a hand on his shoulder.

Rudolph remaid quiet as he looked at the ground.

"I'm not supposed to be a drag on my birthd-

"Who said you were being a drag?"

"There is no rehearsal I need to practice I've practiced everything I needed to do already."

"You need to pause for a moment because you always worry about other people and never about yourself."

"What do you mean?"

His father rolled his eyes and gave Rudolph a hug making Rudolph gasp a bit he was very very confused as to what was going on.

"Why do you do this to yourself?"

He pushed his father out of the hug and looked at him confused.

"What are you talking about!?"

"You know what I mean. Its starts with a 'T' rhymes with boney."

Rudolph's face went red and looked away from his dad.

"I don't know what you are talking about."

"You and I both know that's not true. I and your mother have seen how you have been acting recently. "

"Have I made it that obvious?"

Rudolph thought to himself and shook his head.

"I still don't know."

"Fine, fine be in denial son but if you keep suffering in silence then it will not get any better it would only get worse. I and your Mother will always love you okay."

And with that, his dad walked off leaving Rudolph by himself with his thoughts.

He started to walk slowly down the hall his father's words playing in his head like a broken record.

"I know I shouldn't hide my feelings but I don't want to make Anna mad at me..."

He sighed he knew he needed a date for the dance he wanted it to be Tony.

"Stupid traditions."

He mumbled to himself as he started to feel angry with himself and his stupid feelings.

He hadn't noticed his fingernails digging into his forearm and so blood trickled down it.

"Great..."

He said with a sigh and licked up the small amount of blood.

"Hope no one notices I don't feel like explaining..."

He then stopped at a window and looked outside.

The moon was covered by clouds as it was raining softly. He smiled soaking in the peaceful noise of the rain hitting the window softly.

It was his favorite type of weather. It could never get old to him.

He stayed there watching the rain thinking of what he should do and he sighed finally getting to an answer and nodded deciding it was finally.

He just wanted to make sure everyone was happy and maybe Tony is happy with Anna.

It would be rude to try and take Tony away from his sister when they are happy together.

He then started back down the hallway he panicked a bit wondering what he should say.

"Should I be formal or casual?"

He groaned a bit as he thought about what to say. He knew he needed a dance partner and he knows exactly who to ask.

"Are they even in their room right now...maybe I should wait."

He rubbed the back of his neck and stopped for a bit and paced back and forth for a bit.

"Crap... I can't chicken out now I already made up my mind it's for the best but, how do I know they'll say yes?"

He shook his head and continued down the hall making it to his destination.

He hesitated but finally built up the courage and knocked on the door waiting for a answer.

The door slowly opened revealing a female with deep blue eyes and brown hair tied in a messy bun.

"Rudolph what a surprise please come in."

He quickly walked into the room and closed the door. As he turned around to face the girl she gave him a quick hug.

"Long time no see I was wondering when the man of the hour was gonna pay me a visit."

Rudolph chuckled a bit and he grabbed the girls hands and held them making her flinch a bit.

"Vicky would you like to be my date for tonight?"
