John's P.O.V

our Drummer Pete Best left the band a few weeks earlier and we needed to look for a new drummer. Stuart, George, and Paul understood that I needed to work so Paul was our temporary drummer. Julia also had a bad cold and I didn't have enough money to take her to the doctor so that night we let her lay down in our dressing room, we normally had a 4 hour show and Mattie being the amazing human being that she was agreed to check on her ever so often. 

"thank you so much Mattie, I don't know how I can ever repay you" I said before I went on stage "you don't need to repay me John, she's your daughter and I would do anything for you" she replied with small smile "but really your a life saver, I don't know what I would do with out you" I sighed while walking on stage. 

After the "concert" we were having try outs for the new drummer, since a lot of the times one of my bandmates would have to babysit Julian, Julia and Sean they would have to be good with kids. "hey princess are you feeling better?" I asked Julia when we got back to the dressing room "yea daddy I still feel icky though" she said rubbing her eyes, "we have to go to uncle Stu's for a few hours before we can go home" I whispered to her. We quickly got our things together and Stuart helped me set up the stroller then we started the 30 minute walk to Stuarts.

though I was old enough to drive I had such bad eyesight that I wasn't allowed to drive so we were forced to walk, and the Stroller probably made us look ridiculous but they probably thought we were babysitting my younger sibling's.

when we got to Stuart's I put the kids in the kitchen with Stuart's Mother Millie. then we set up for the try out's in the basement.
