"Sand Buster!" A whirl of sand blew away the smoke from Aerith below, leaving Lucy and Natsu coughing for air. "Thanks Scorpio." Lucy wheezed as she righted herself. The spirit gave her a thumbs up before disappearing. Natsu growled and dashed forward, his fists flaming. "Fire Dragons Iron Fist!" Natsu shouted, his fists covered in flames. The attack connected to Ronans jaw, sending him flying back. "Ash God's Poison Needle!" Hundreds of fine ashen needles flew from his body, aimed at the dragon slayer.  Lucy lashed out with her whip, pulling Natsus feet out from under him. The attack missed him completely.

"Celestial Wizard." Aerith said, stepping towards Lucy. The blonde glared at the smoke god. "It is because of your people that our God was sealed." She snarled, smoke rising from her body. "And we will never let you free him!" Lucy snapped, pulling out a golden key. "Open Gate of the Lion: Loke!" With the sound of a bell, the golden spirit appeared. "Hey Lucy." He said with a grin. "Loke, we need-" "Yeah, Crux told me everything. You can count on me!" He dashed forward, fists shining with regulas light. "Regulas Impact!" Aerith held up her hand, Lokes fist stopping on her palm. "What the-" Smoke exploded from where their hands connected, and Loke reeled back in a coughing fit.

"Smoke God's Fire!" The smoke surrounding them combusted, bursting into gray flames. Loke and Lucy cried out, the dark flames licking at their skin. "Lucy! Loke!" Natsu cried out. He inhaled, the gray flames dying out as Natsu ingested them. Once the hall was once again clear he coughed, falling to his knees and clutching at his throat. "Natsu!" Lucy and Loke called out, running to the dragons side. "That fire... Is wrong..." He gasped out, his insides felt like they were on fire, and his lungs ached.

"Our flames are different from your, dragon slayer. You can not eat them." Aerith said lazily, smoke lifting from her body once more. Lucy glared at the woman, gripping her whip tightly. She glanced around the room, trying to find something they could use to get the upper hand. She gasped lightly as something caught her eye, but Ronan stepped forward. "I am bored, dear sister." He raised his hands, palm up. The ash that covered the hall began to swirl around them, and enormous magical energy began to build up around the man.

"Ash God's Secret Art: Phoenix Rising!" The ash collected in front of him, forming a large phoenix. The ash bird screeched as it slowly burned from the inside, filled with gray flames. It spread it's wings, filling the hall, and diving for the three mages.

"Water Slicer!" Juvia panted heavily as, once again, her water evaporated inches from Embriora. She was already tired, and the flames were so hot that if she got too close, her very skin boiled. Embriora laughed, "Is that all you've got Miss.Blue? Such a shame." Fire flew from her hands and Juvia melted to the ground to avoid getting hit. Her arm still burned from the last hit. Steam had filled the room and it clung to the ceiling, giving Juvia an idea.

Her hand stretched out of the ground and pointed to the ceiling. The steam rolled along the ceiling and twisted, until water slowly began to form. Soon, Juvia managed to make it rain inside. There was a slight hissing sound as the rain made contact with Embriora but the flames never died down. Juvia struck out again, and as she hoped,  her water made contact. Embriora,  who had been laughing, paused and looked at her arm. The water had doused her flame and the wound looked like dim embers. "Using the rain to cool my flames... Interesting. I guess it's time to turn up the heat!"

Gajeel, Erza and Levy ran up the winding stairs that lead them closer to the source of the earlier scream. Gajeel had never felt so panicked in his life, and he was allowing it to consume him. They made their way to yet another landing, the room emptying and showing a single woman standing in the center. Long brown hair stretched to her waist, and green eyes studied the mages as they came to a stop in front of her. "Fairy Tails Titania Erza and Kurogane Gajeel. And I'm assuming your the Script Mage Levy McGarden?" She said, sounding almost bored.

Levy frowned, "How do you-" "Archive magic. I know all. I knew you were coming, I knew who you would bring in your group, and I have left traps accordingly."She gestured to the mages. "I shall keep this simple. Erza has decided to stay and fight," the requip mage looked startled. "And you, Miss.McGarden, have already started deciphering the runes I have set by the door." Levy, who's eyes had indeed been studying the runes, snapped back to the woman. "If you can dispell my runes you may go. I am looking forward to fighting Miss.Titania herself " Erza requiped into her heavens wheel armor. "Very well, since you already have this planned. Levy, Gajeel and Lily. Go on ahead." The three nodded and headed for the blocked door.

"You know my name, now what is yours?" Erza demanded once Levy set to work on the runes. The woman smiled almost sweetly, "I am Vyra. Second in command to Sypress, our beloved leader." Erza surpressed the urge to roll her eyes. "Shall we begin?" Vyra asked kindly. The air around her shimmered lightly, letters materializing around her. "Solid Script: Lightning" The word formed and shot towards Erza, who quickly requiped into her lightning empress armor. When the impact came, however, it was not lightning. Fire enveloped her, and she had to surpress a startled cry. Erza glared at the woman as she tried to figure out how it had happened.

A fire was thrown her way and she requiped once more, only to be dowsed with water and struck with lightning. She had seen it this time. Inches from impact, Vyra took the letters that floated about her and switched out the words with speed. Her armor would not help her in this battle. Erzas attention was briefly brought to Levy, as she gave a small victory cry and she and the boys vanished upstairs. "I'm surprised. It takes most a day to figure out my runes." Vyra said, sounding unimpressed. Erza smiled. "Our Levy is something else."

Avery was breathing heavily, her body shaking slightly in the chair she was attached to. She felt numb and weak, she just wanted to sleep for a few years. She glanced up at Sypress as he fiddled with the machine she was attached to. He was a tall man, nearly as tall as her father. White hair touched his shoulders and gray eyes were focused. Her attention was soon brought to the doorway, as her sensitive ears caught the sound of running feet. She had heard commotion downstairs but she couldn't pinpoint anything.

Her eyes widened at the figures that came through. She briefly looked at the small woman with sky blue hair, before all of her attention was locked on the man behind her. She felt her eyes water as they locked eyes, she tried to tell herself not to cry. He's here! He hasn't forgotten about me! Though she had faith in her father, she had begun to fear the worst. Those fears were chased away as he watched her, rushing towards her. She finally let all of her emotions go, joy taking over as a cry ripped from her throat. "Daddy!!"
