The Unknown Truth - Hermione Riddle

Chapter 8 - Caved in

Amerie's P.O.V

Tom. Tom. Hermione. Hermione. I don't know what happened. One minute James Potter cast the killing curse then I'm transported somewhere and finally after years I'm back on earth. Is Tom okay? Is Hermione okay?

Darkness surrounded me. I walked about trying to find an exit when I hit into something and I can hear screeching off bats. I need water and I need food but no one's there. I suddenly screamed as I pulled at my hair.

Hermione's P.O.V

That bomb that Snape dropped on me was highly explosive. My mother was alive. Amerie Riddle was alive. I know I should be happy but I couldn't help but feel pain inside. I wasn't going to let that set my mission of course though.

I had to complete it. I lay silently with a bottle of poisonous mead on my bed. If the cabinet didn't work I would always have a backup. And Christmas would come early for Albus Dumbledore.

I smiled darkly while internally chuckling.

-Two Weeks Later

"Ron stay strong please!" I shouted as Ron started blanking out on the hospital bed. I honestly couldn't care less about what happened to this Weasel but I had to keep up appearances.

My plan with the the mead didn't work out so good and Ronald was poisoned instead.

I sighed and put my head down.

I never felt pain anymore but the last time I did it was horrible.

Summer after year four

I breathed shakily as I looked up at the huge house in front of me. Riddle Manor. My father resided there. "Father." I breathed out.

"Hermione." He said in a sickening voice. Around the table I could see cloaked figures. They gave off a dark feeling. "You've summoned me." I said.

"Are you ready to prove your allegiance?" He asked. I nodded. My father swiftly stood up and grabbed my left arm.

He whispered some words and I immediately felt a stinging pain on my arm.

Five days later and I woke up in a bed. Every bit of my body hurting.

I shook my head as I tried to forget that. "You can go. He'll make it." Madame Pomphrey said.
