How i met tyler

I saw Claire sitting on a bench near the trash can and decided to say hi before I headed to class. I walked to where Claire was with a big smile
"what are you doing here, near the trash can? You should be going to class, you don't want to be late for the day before break! Trust me, I'm you're best friend so you should listen to my advice." Claire turned around with tears rolling down her cheeks. "What's wrong?" I asked.
"Chad broke up with me,"
"I'm so sorry, he doesn't deserve you." I put my books down and hugged her. "Come on let's walk away from the trash can and head to class, we can go together."
"No, this is where I belong"
"What?! Of course not! What are you talking about?"
"Yes, I'm trash. Or at least that's what chad said"
"Well, don't listen to him. if he said that then it just means he's a jerk, and If he was a jerk then I'm glad you two aren't together anymore, you are so much better than that, your funny, pretty, nice, kind, and there's so much more." claire smiled and stood up. We walked toward our lockers which were right next to each other.
I opened my locker getting my history book when someone came behind me and hugged me. He smelled like men cologne, i turned around and it was Tyler! Tyler is my boyfriend, we've been dating since senior year, the love of my life.
"Hey," he said.
Hey I said turning around, smiling. "Meet me after school at the cafe?"
"Yeah sure," he gave me a kiss and walked away. I turned around and saw claire hiding her face from me.
"Oh no, dont tell me that you're crying again. Come here" claire turned around with mascara and makeup all over her face. I stretched my arms out and hugged her. There we were hugging and claire having a breakdown.
"Did the speech i gave you not work at all?"
"It did, but you dont understand. I want to move in with him, marry him, i want to start a family with him, i want him to be in my life. I want him to be the person i share my life with, I Loved him, you have no idea how that feels, you and Tyler have never even had a fight."
"You're right, i have no idea how you feel right now. But i know that it's hard to think about losing Tyler, i love him, and i can't imagine a life without him. He's there for me every time my parents cant. Without him, i wouldn't be the person that i am today. So no i dont understand what it feels to break up with someone but i feel the fear and pain of losing them."
"You're right, but it still hurts."
"I know it does, but guess what, you're going to get past this, this will all go away soon, one day you will continue to be the shining rainbow you are. It will be painful and it will continue to be like that, and of course that it won't be easy, not in a million years will it be easy. there will be days that you dont want to open your eyes in the morning, days that you feel like your a machine launching water from your eyes, days where all you see is a dark cloud above your head. But there will also be days that you will wake up and look forward to something, days where you can't stop smiling and appreciating the people you love. But i promise you, you will find someone that will love you just like chad did, even if it's hard to think like that right now. But one day you will have a handsome husband and the cutest children in the world. But that's later, that's on the future, and i promise that when that day comes im going to be the first to be there for you" claire wiped her tears
"Thank you."
"What can i do to make you feel better?"
"Tell me the story of how Tyler asked you out"
"Wouldnt that make you sadder?" Is
"No, it would give me hope that there's someone out there for me and that not all guys are bad."
"Okay"
*flashback*
Irene was sitting on her couch watching tv with Tyler, irene had a crush on Tyler for years but never got the guts to tell him, you filled herself with courage and asked.
"Hey, Tyler?"
"Yeah?" he replied
"We're best friends right?"
"Yeah, definitely. Why?"
"Well, whenever our friends talk about who we like, you never answer"
"Yeah"
"So, who do you like?"
"No one"
"But, everyone likes someone, or at least thinks someone is cute."
"Yes, i dont like them i love them"
"Wow, i didnt know you felt so strongly about someone"
"I do, i don know what i would do without them"
"How long have you known them for?"
"Years"
"I have an idea! How about you facetime her and i can talk to her! I want to meet her."
Tyler puts his hand on his grey jeans pockets and takes out his phone, he unlocked his phone and clicked facetime, and clicked the name with an emoji with hearts around it.
"She never really picks up because she's always busy."
"Oh okay, that's fine." i feel my phone vibrating so i stand up to the table and grab it.
"I think she's going to answer"
"Noo wait i think someone's calling me." irene said unaware of the situation, irene answers without looking at who was calling.
"Hi, this is Irene?" irene said waiting for a reply.
"I love you" irene was completely shocked, she did not expect that to happen. Since that moment Tyler and irene have been dating and have been un-breakable.

"Awwww, i love that story, i wish i had a relationship like you and Tyler's!" i smiled.
