At 6:00 I went toward my closet and took my clothes out. I smiled imaginin how pretty I would look, I set my clothes on my gray bed. I put my clothes on. I was wearing a black top, with ripped jean shorts, a flannel red, black and white jacket tied around my waist, and some black converse. I checked my outfit one more time on the mirror making sure I looked fine. I went downstairs to get my mini gray bad ready for the carnival. I walked past my dad and grabbed my water bottle.
"Are you going out?" Dad said as I filled my water bottle with water and ice.
"Yeah!" i said
"Don't you think that you should have told me sooner?"
"Well, i thought that mom was going to tell you, she's the one that told me i could go After All."
"Honey, you should have asked me or at least told me"
"Okay dad, I'll do better next time"
I put some snacks on my bag And said goodbye to my dad
"Text me when you get to Claire's house and when you get there!" Dad said
"I will!" I yelled excitedly
I reached Claire's house and Claire was already ready. I knocked on the door and since she was sitting in her couch she turned herself half way to lookout who it was since there was a window next to the door. I smiled when she saw me and Claire immediately jumped up from the couch and ran to the door.
"Hi!" She said "are you exited? I'm so exited, I couldn't even sleep last night"
"Haha me either. " Claire said goodbye to her parents and grabbed her car keys.
