You and Draco make your way back up to the castle, still making sure to be as quiet as you can. "Right, umm 'night Draco." You say to him. "Night, darling." He says back. "Woah, slow down there, buddy. I still have yet to decided. No names yet." He bows his head. "Yet." Draco says. "Go to bed." Both of you turn your opposite direction: him into the dungeons, and you, into the Gryffindor Towers. "Hey, Y/N." You stop on the third step, and look back. "Yes?" "I'm glad we are on first name bases again." His head bobs back, and he gives a small grin. "Yeah. Same here."
"Water boat." The Fat Lady looks at you with tired eyes. "What in the world are you doing out past curfew?" She asks. "Doesn't matter." Raising an eyebrow, she opens the portrait. Walking in: you see that the fire is still lit. "Weird." You tell yourself. "Yeah weird." Another familiar voice says. "Ginny! You gave me a fright, what are you doing here?"
Ginny stands up from the sofa and looks at you. "We were going to ask you the same thing." Hermione stands up a few seconds later, right next to her. "Why ever were you wondering around so late? I mean for the love of Godric Gryffindor, there's a killer on the lose! Something could have happened to you!" Hermione exclaims, she walks over to you, and gives you a big hug. "I know. I'm sorry." Is all you say. "I have a hunch." Ginny mumbles. "What do you mean?" You and Hermione ask in utter unison. Ginny pulls a parchment out of her pocket. "You can't seem to make up your mind, can you?"
Hermione snatched the parchment from Ginny. The brunette's eyes move fast across the paper, reading and taking in every word. Once she finished it, Hermione turned it over looking for a name. "It's from Malfoy, isn't it?" Hermione snaps at you finally. "I-well...perhaps." You shrug. "I can't believe it! Can you believe it, Gin?" Hermione snaps at Ginny. "I cannot." Ginny shakes her head. "Brilliant. You two sound like my mother looking at my exam report." You roll your eyes. "Well of course we do! I mean you need someone to be your mother in this point of time!" Ginny says with anger in her voice. "Not even close! I have done more than you or Hermione could ever imagine, I don't think I need a mom!" You cry. Hermione looks taken a bake. "It has barely been like three days since the incident! Why can you not just listen, and hear?" Hermione pleaded. "You both don't care." You say to your two friends. "I have a lot to think about, so I'm going to bed. Good night." The two girls watch you both storm upstairs.
They're right. I am just like those girls I strive not to be! They break up with their boyfriends and BAM a day later they're back together. I don't want to be like that, but here I am: the whole damn school is going to think I'm like one of those girls. You sign, and turn in your bed. "Y/N? When-when did you get in here?" Lavender spoke, in a very soft and tired voice. "What do you mean? I have been In here for hours. You're crazy." You chuckle, and close your eyes.
It's foggy, the shapes unclear. Everything is black and white. "Are you ready?" Ginny wore a black dress. Although it was an older Ginny, around twenty year old Ginny. "You look brilliant." Hermione appeared next to her. Same thing, around a twenty year old Hermione too, wearing a matching black dress. They disappeared, and you were in a white room with thousands of chairs, empty, but with around ten people sitting in the front. "I have dreamed of this since the moment you were born." A voice to your left says, your heard quickly turns to see him: "Dad?" He smiles. "Hey, Chunks. How are you?" You smile back. "Great now that you're here." He leads you to walk down the long and twisty aisle. The chairs would sometimes fly up into the sky, or they would come crashing down. "This is where I leave you." Your father gives you a kiss on your cheek, and he sits down next to your mother on the front row. Wait, this is my wedding day! You walk to the alter, and your soon to be husband takes off your vail... His face blurred at first, and when he began to speak his voice was muffled. You spoke and your voice was clearer than ever. The Priest finally spoke once more. "You may kiss the bride..." Might as well... You and your unknown husband lean in. Your eyes fluttered close. Suddenly for some reason before you lips meet: your eyes gently open. "DRACO?!" Your husband's face has been revealed, and a mirror had been placed behind him. You saw yourself for the first time: around twenty years old, in a full blown wedding dress. You look back to Draco. "Is not this what you dream of?" He asked, although his voice was not his usual charming voice. It was a creepy demotic voice. Blackness began to swallow all the white whole. You look back at your father, his eyes rolled back, and he started to bleed from his heart. "DAD!" Gone. All of it. Gone. All was left was you in pitch black. Screams of horror and pain echoing in your head. Flashes of killing, slaughter, pain, visons, all inside. "NO!"
"Are you alright?!" Ginny shook you awake. "What? Huh? Ginny? Oh my god, we are still in third year right?" Ginny sits back on your bed. "Of course we are. I came rushing as fast as I could when I heard you screaming." She said. "What did I scream?" You ask her, Ginny fixes her hair: mostly to do something with her hands. "Well, you started to scream 'Draco', 'Dad', 'No', and then just bloody murder." You finally realized that you woke up the whole dormitory. All the girls were behind Ginny with the robes tightly around them. "It was just a bad dream." Your best friend looks back at the girls, then back at you. "Would you like to talk about it?" She asks. For a moment you consider. "All you would do is judge me." Ginny put her lips together. "We are best friends, now and forever. We get into arguments and disagreements, yes. But that's only because we are both so hot headed! Now please, tell me what your nightmare was about, it helps getting it off your chest. Plus I bet we would get extra credit in trelawney's class if we told her!"
"Woah. That is some messed up dream." You finally finished telling Ginny all the details of your dream; from seeing a twenty year old her, all the way to the images of murder. "Yeah, tell me about it." Hermione sat on the bed with you two. "It possibly can not mean anything though. I mean it's just a nightmare. Nothing will come of it. You are okay now, and that's all that matters." Hermione tells you. "I guess you are right 'Mione. It is just that the screams and the images. I can't get them out of my head." You grab you hair in stress. "Hey," Ginny grabs your hand from your hair. "don't worry. I know a charm that will get rid of nightmares and will give you sweet dreams. Want me to use it on you?" You look at Ginny with a smile. "Yes please. The redhead gets up and grabs her wand from inside her school robe's pocket. "Lay down. This is going to knock you out stone cold." You do as you are told, and Ginny says her charm, and your eyes feel heavy, and heavier. Gone. Gone into a sleep that you have never felt before.
Beep beep beep beep beep "Who the hell put their alarm on?! We are on break!" Parvati asks moaning from tiredness. "That will be me! I wanted to be at breakfast extra early today, so I can go to the library, and then-" "Okay, Mione. We don't need to know your whole schedule!" Ginny says with a groan. You can hear some rustling from across the room for a few minutes, and the door opens, then closes. "Who wants to bet that she's meeting Harry Potter, if you know what I mean- OW! Ginny!" Lavender rubes her head in which Ginny threw a book at her. "He is my boyfriend in which you might have forgotten." Lavender huffed, then proceeded to pull the covers over her head. "Be quiet! Some of us are trying to take advantage of sleeping in!" You yell at the lot. "Right. Well good nigh, errr morning." There were more rustling followed by some snoaring.
"Dude, it's one pm. I think you should wake up." Ginny enchanted a pillow to keep hitting you until you wake up. "Argh fiiiineeee!!!" Getting up extra slowly, you dress in muggle clothing. "By the way, Gin. Thanks for the charm last night." You thank Ginny. "It was no problem." You look to the floor for a second. "Oh hey. Last night why I went out." Ginny looked up at you. "I went to see Draco." "First name bases again, I see." She raised an eyebrow. "And he told me something surprising." You stop, not knowing if you should tell her this or not. "Well, go on." She urges you. "He told me he loves me." Her mouth drops. Ginny didn't say anything for a few seconds. "What did you say to him?!" She fell back onto her bed. "I told him I will give him an answer by next week." Ginny looks down, then back up. "Do you have an answer yet?" You think for a minute. "Maybe."
