RIP Eric Carter

Today is the day that everyone from family members, friends, neighbors and teachers is coming to to say Farwell to Eric Carter better known as Big E.

Mama Gloria: It still seem so unreal I cannot believe I’m laying my oldest son to rest. He’s in heaven now with his grandfather and great grandfather. *Sigh* Well let me get up and fix breakfast.

Mickey: I don’t think I can do this seeing our brother laying in a casket is going to break me. I’m not going I can’t see him like that I just can’t.

Annie: I know it’s going to be hard, but momma, Shawn, me and everyone is going to be there expect for you how do you think that’s going to look? Trust I’m going to cry just like everyone else, but we need this closure. We need to say our Farwell to our brother.

Mickey: I don’t know if I can I don’t want to say goodbye or Farwell I want my brother back with us I miss him playing pranks on us and just being the annoying older brother that he was. *crying* I guess I’ll go.

Annie: glad you changed your mind you do know if you did not show up that he would come and bother you right?

Mickey: yeah I know. I need to keep my mind on something else lets go eat some cereal.

Mama Gloria just finish cooking eggs, sausage link & patties, grits, pancakes, waffles, bacon, orange, apple juice and milk. The table was full of food plates are already made, but she made 5 plates instead of three.

Annie & Mickey: Good Morning momma.

Mama Gloria: Good Morning baby girls.

Annie: Momma this food is good.

Mickey: I know right.

Mama Gloria:  Thank You.

Annie: Mom why did you make two extra plates?

Mickey: Annie you need some glasses mom only made three plates one for you, her and me.

Annie: No she did not she made 5 plates. You got yours I got mines and she got hers, Shawn is at Bey House so who the other plate for?

Mama Gloria: The other plate is for your brother Eric who else?

Annie: Mickey and I just looked at each other because our brother is no longer here with us. We did not want to bust our mother bubble, but it look like it was already busted.

Mama Gloria: *Crying* he’s gone he’s gone lord why please give me my son back. I hit me that my oldest is no longer with us anymore not in person that is, but always in spirit, and our hearts. I got myself so worked up I vomited on myself.

Annie: mom sit down let me get you some tissue.

Mickey: come on mom let’s go upstairs so you can get cleaned up.

Mama Gloria: I’m fine you two sit down and eat your breakfast I’m okay. Call your brother and see if he’s ready.

Annie: yes ma’am.

Mickey: I never seen her like that she scared me. I know it’s going to be worse at the service today.

Annie: yeah I know. Let me call Shawn.
