Chapter 6: Strange Encounters

Third Person POV 

Cayde and Y/n were in their ship as the two hunters were waiting to reach their destination. 

Cayde: So how was living with the four girls? 
He asked as he looked at his fellow hunter. 

Y/N: It was fine. 
He said as he was reloading his rifle. 

Cayde: Really? 

Y/N: Yes. It was fine. 
He said as he reloaded Sunshot. 

Cayde: Really now. 
He said as he sat by him. 

Cayde: Come on. Why so quiet? 
He asked as he wrapped his arm around his shoulder. 

Y/N: Just tired. 
He said as he put his weapons down. 

Cayde: What? How could you possibly be tired? 

Y/N: Just tired. 
He said as he strapped Borralis to his back. 

Cayde: Oh okay. 
He said as a thud was heard. 

Cayde: Sound like we're there. 
He said as he took out his revolver. 

Cayde: Ready to have some fun? 
He asked as he walked out of the ship to see a forest around them. 

Cayde: Ah. This place is surely beautiful. 
He said as he walked around Y/N held onto his rifle, scanning the area. 

Y/N: So you said something about fallen with red auras. 

Cayde: Yep. 
He said before hearing a branch snap. 

Y/N turned around as he aimed to see a fallen with a red aura. 

Y/N: Fallen! 
He yelled as the fallen pulled out a dagger and lunged at him.

 BANG 

The fallen fell to the ground as Y/N looked to Cayde with Ace in his hand. 

Y/N: Thanks. 
He said as Cayde nods before looking at the fallen. 

Y/N: The hell is this. 
He said before seeing the aura aura slowly lift. 

Y/N: What the!? 
He yelled as she backed up, looking at the red aura as Cayde aimed at it before seeing it leave the area. 

Cayde: Don't know where that is going but let's follow it. It could take us to the others. 
He said before jumping onto his sparrow. 

Y/N: Son of a bitch. Wait for me! 
He yelled before jumping onto his and following Cayde. 

To Ruby 

Ruby: I'm hungry. 
She said as her stomach growled walking while following Isabella down the street. 

Weiss: Is there anywhere we can eat? 
She asked as the four looked a the warlock. 

Isabella: Fine. 
She said before walking to a resturant. 

Ruby: Smells good. 
She said with a smile. 

Yang: What is this place? 

Isabella: Just a burger joint. 
She said before tapping on a screen with her meal. 

Isabella: Tap on what you want for your meal and that's it. I'll pay for it. 
She said as she waits for the four girls to insert their meals. 

Isabella: Already so tiresome. 
She groans to herself as she sees Ruby tapping everything. 

Isabella: What are you doing. 

Ruby: All these look so good! 
She yells with a smile. 

Isabella :Shh.
She said as she slapped the back of her head. 

Ruby: Okay. 
She said before tapping her meal. 

Isabella: Alright you four done? 
She asked as she looked at them. 

WBY: Yeah. 
They said as they finished picking. 

Isabella: That's 70 glimmers done the drain. 
She said before grabbing her food. 

Isabella: After you get your meal meet me at the table. 
She said before walking away with her meal. 

Isabella: Those four are so tiresome. I need to so see Maria later. 

To Y/N

BANG 

BANG 

BANG 

BANG 

Cayde: Hey Y/N. Need a little help here. 
He said as he shot at a fallen. 

BANG 

Cayde: Thanks Y/N. 
He said as he gave him a thumbs up. 

BANG 

Cayde: Hey! You could have hit me! 

Y/N: Well I didn't didn't I. 
He said before looking behind him. 

Y/N: What the. 
He said before seeing another fallen with red aura lunging at him. 

BANG 

The fallen fell to the ground as the red aura flowed towards him. 

Cayde: Y/N! 
He yelled as Y/N fell off the cliff before crashing onto the ground below. 

Y/N: Get this off of me! 
He yelled as he thrashed around while the aura flowed around his armor. 

THUD 

Cayde suddenly turned aorund as he saw a titan with an axe. 

Cayde: What are you doing. 
He said as the titans charged at Y/N. 

Cayde: What are you doing! 
He yelled as the titan raises his axe above his head. 

SLASH
