"YOU DON'T STAND A CHANCE DUDE!" She shouted before running and flicking her dark brown hair sending me a whiff of her scent. God she is killing me. The first time I saw her in art class I was dumbfounded by her beauty. Her face, her eyes, her small cute nose. Even her name is the name of my favorite flower. It was killing me not to grab her and make her mine forever. But I couldn't because she was a human. A human who doesn't know anything about my world or about the fact that she belongs with me.

As I was walking home I was so lost in thought that I hadn't realized when I had reached my house. I started walking towards the garden I noticed for the first time how truly beautiful the garden really was.

Fresh green grass was covering the entire square garden. The garden is divided into two parts. One part of the garden is sunny and is filled with many trees and plants. The second part of the garden is shaded and has a garden pond near it. The most peculiar thing is that the flowers in the garden are all very unique and different. I wouldn't be surprised if all types of colorful flowers were in this garden.

I walked towards the flowers and took in the second most addicting scent of yellow lilies that were spread around a little fountain. Looking at yellow flowers reminded me of happy days when everything was right and I had a normal life.

"Shaaaannneeee stop ogling my garden and come inside or you'll catch a cold." Grace shouted from the kitchen window.

I chuckled listening to her sweet voice. Even in the darkest of time her voice would brighten my day in a split second. I never knew my mother but if she were alive today I would picture her to be just like Grace. She is always standing next to me.

I ran towards the porch where this middle aged lady was standing showing off her perfect set of pearly whites and wrapped my arms around her. At first she was shocked but eventually she hugged me back.

"Looks like somebody had a great day." She said and looked straight into my eyes.

"Actually, I had the best." I said turning towards the garden and reminiscing my time spent with a certain brunette.

She let out a giggle and messed up my hair.

"Come inside. Dinner's waiting and you can tell me about your 'BEST DAY'." She said going into our house and I followed behind her.

As soon as I walked into the house I was overtaken with aroma of Grace's lasagna.

"Ah...Grace's special lasagna." I said sitting at table drooling like a bulldog.

I grabbed a nearby spoon and was about to take a bite heaven, but Grace picked up the dish from in front of me.

"Heyyyyy," I whined towards Grace.

"No clean hands, no dinner."she said arching her brow.

"No fair. I am hungry." I whined again and crossed my arms.

"Go take a bath Shane and I will set the table." Grace told me.

Sighing I got up from the table. There was no way I could win an argument against Grace especially when its about tidiness.
