I felt sorrow fill my body as the new headmaster made that announcement. I was always known as a caring person but now I didnt care what my sister felt, I just wanted to cry. "Y/N Granger!" Headmaster Magonnigal said. I walked up to the chair with tears threating to come out my eyes. "Hmmm...your soulmate has to be someone not just compatible but able to help you. Maybe you can help him....DRACO MALFOY!" The hat said. I looked at him as tears started spilling out of my eyes. I hated him with all of my life. He always made fun of me and Mione and the 2 boys. Now I had to marry, live and produce a child with him. "NO! YOU MUST HAVE MADE A MISTAKE! Please....." you say, your voice cracking at the end. "I'm sorry dear.....the hat never lies or makes a mistake. Now go sit next to Malfoy please." Magonnigal says with sorrow in her eyes. I walk down and sit next to him.
Draco's pov:
I heard the news and I didnt even care. I knew I just wasn't going to put any effort. After all it will probably be Pansy. God I hate that girl. We have had sex may times before so it wont be hard to make a baby. Then cutting through my thoughts I heard Y/N called. "Hmmm...your soulmate has to be someone not just compatible but able to help you. Maybe you can help him....DRACO MALFOY!" That stupid hat paired me up with one of the Granger brats. I've never really gotten to talk to her unless you count insulting her or making fun of her. NO! YOU MUST HAVE MADE A MISTAKE! Please....." She said. She had to make a whole scene. I mean it must be tough seeing as she already was dating a biy named Ben and had thier plans out for the future. But she didnt have to make a whole scene out of it. "I'm sorry dear.....the hat never lies or makes a mistake. Now go sit next to Malfoy please." She sat down next to me and now I could really see her up close. She was beautiful. She also looked broken. This new law ruined her. Y/N was always known as the most caring, pretty, and bright girl but this new law seemed to break her. I still hate her but I kinda feel bad for her.
