Chapter 3 p.1
"Strange"

* Playing flute dramatically

The whole room was filled with applause after the emotional and melancholic performance of Lily's flute. If her teacher would describe her, she is a simple student, smart and  an inspiration for her other classmates, except for...

"Me!? You're comparing me to that girl?" she exaggeratedly exclaimed "Yes she knows how to play a flute but, I am prettier than her. You see that wavy hair, sharp nose and black pale eyes? And oh, not to mention her thin eyebrows, and not so long eyelashes, is that your description of beautiful? I didn't know that you're a comedian at times." she intentionally spoke loudly so that it could reach Lily.

"What is your problem with Lily?" Rose, Lily's good friend asked. "Why are you so mad at her? Aren't you satisfied about with everything that you've done to my friend? You witch!" she added furiously.

"Let her be, it's a waste of  time if you get down to her level." Lily did nothing and sighed.

"What? What did you say? I'm such a waste of time? the girl gasped and stood to attack Lily but she was interrupted by a loud thud created by their teacher.

"Quiet! You're really doing this in front of me? Gosh, kids nowadays." she then massaged her temple. "Anyways, I have something important to say before you go home."

The room got silent and waited for their teacher to continue.

"This weekend, we will be having a scout mission for the awarding of our honor student. That will be your last mission, and your last judgment. I hope you prepare your things. I will send this message to your parents. Other information will be discussed when we got there. So, that would be all, class dismissed." she stood and left, followed by the students.

"Wait, Lily my friend. We're not done yet. What about we continue our small chitchat that got cut earlier, hmm?" Chloe blocked.

"Girl, you're not Lily's friend, stop calling her that." Rose scoffed.

"Am I talking to you? Are you lily? Chloe looked at the former with disgust. "I just have a little words to say." she leaned onto Lily's ears and say, "Lily, you have to be careful because I will never allow you to win against me, goodbye." using her most annoying tone. After being satisfied, she then walked out.

Lily shrugged her words off. Nothing's new.

"Come on Lily." Rose snapped while walking down the hallway, "Do you still remember the things that woman did to you?"

"Yes, who wouldn't? But I just don't think about it anymore. It's not as if something will change if I continue thinking about it. All I want is to graduate. Nothing more, nothing less."

"Gosh, will you just ignore the fact that Chloe pushed you down the stairs? Your foot isn't even good yet, right?"

"Pfft, it happened already, we can't do anything about it anymore. But that shit hurts so bad, huh. I still can't walk properly."

Flashback.

"I introduce you to your new classmate Lily." the teacher said.

"Hi Lily." Rose greeted. She was the first and only person that gave attention to Lily.

"There you sit next to Rose, Lily. Enjoy the whole school year. Welcome to the university."

Lily shyly bowed and sat beside Rose without minding the stares of her classmates especially Chloe.

"Oh, look at that dress, her fashion sense is poor, what a pity." Chloe stated, obviously pertaining to the newbie.

"Shut up, Chloe. Can you just be nice? She's just new here yet you're acting like a brat towards her. Stop being too pressed, grow up." Rose answered with her most serious tone. She's irritated and it shows.
