These Days (Fred Weasley x OC x Draco)

Chapter 3

It would be a disappointment to most Ravenclaws when I say that Jean wasn't the smartest.

Sure, she could get decent grades if she tried, but being extremely unmotivated and lazy as she was, things didn't work out in her favor.

So when she woke up the next morning for her first class she immediately groaned. Usually the students were expected to keep their dorm room clean and neat, but living with Luna Lovegood made it another story.

Professor Flitwick made them promise that as long as they clean up their room once they graduate, the girls could basically decorate it however they would like.

Giving that creative freedom, they went a tad bit overboard, the normal light blue walls were now completely covered with vines and flowers, as well as murals of the forbidden forest and drawings of creatures "Only i can see" (as luna stated while painting them).

Jean loved how interesting their room was, and she was luckily her only roommate was Luna, because she doesn't think anyone else would have the imagination and creativity that Luna did.

Luna and Jean had much in common, mostly being more on the creative and fun side of the Ravenclaws, and not as smart as Cho and Micheal.

Sometimes Jean wondered why Luna didn't wear shoes in the forest or why she wore a lion head, but it was fine because it made Luna all the more fun and special to be around.

Their favorite activity was to sneak to the forbidden forest and pet the animals, that all seemed to adore Luna. She was great with Animals.

Jean eventually finished getting ready for the day, and grabbed her book bag and shoes, meeting her friends in the common room.

Her and her friend group (which consisted of Cho Chang, Luna Lovegood, and Micheal Corner) all left their whimsical common room and walked across the school to the dining hall.

Even though it was quite early, the dining hall was already packed with tired students. The group sits down at their usual spot at the Ravenclaw table, ready to have some breakfast.

"I already wanna go home" Cho whines

"Speak for yourself" Jean mutters under her breath, jealous of her friend's good relationship with her parents.

"I'm sorry Jean, maybe you can stay with me over break instead of going home?" Luna retorts, smiling warmly at the girl

"Thankyou Luna, maybe I'll take that offer"

The group ate their breakfast and engaged in some light banter to keep their conversation interesting. Soon enough, it was time for Jeans first class, Potions.
