Sunshine Girl

Chapter 9

(Isabella's POV)

I woke up to a dark room. It was Noah's room. I could smell his cologne on the sheets, but he didn't sleep in the bed.

I walked down the stairs to see Liz talking to Enzo, who was her boyfriend and also worked for Noah.  He was nice to me. "Hi Enzo! Do you by any chance know where Noah is?" I ask and they turn to me. "Yeah, he is in his office with his brother" he flashes me a smile and I give one back before walking towards his office.

I looked down at my bunny slippers. They were very cute. I knocked on his office door softly,  I didn't get an answer so I opened the door and walked in.

Noah and his brother turned to me and I gasped. "Oliver?" I ask surprised. "This must be Isabella! Nice to meet you!" He gets up and shakes my hand. "You are Olivia's boyfriend! And Noah's brother oh my gosh" I look at both of them realizing the resemblance.

"Oh you know Olivia?" He asks and Noah just watches this unfold. "She's my best friend. She moved here a little while ago then I moved here" I smile and he nods. "Well it seems you needed to see Noah so I'll wait in the kitchen.  Oh by the way, nice bunny slippers" he smiles and I blush in embarrassment after he leaves.

I walk up to Noah's desk and he smiles at me. "Hey princess, what's up?" He asks as he goes through his desk looking for something. "Why did you rush me here? Also where is everyone?" I ask and he hands me a lollipop from his desk. I squeal softly and take the lollipop.

"Well Nick is a bad guy. Let's just say he doesn't do good things. And they are out doing chores I guess" he smiles and I lick the lollipop. "What about Bob?" I ask realizing I hadn't fed him because I was out.

"He is here. Along with some of your things" He tells me and I tilt my head. "I would like you to move in with us" He says normally. "I.. Noah we just met, you can't possibly just ask me to move in and become your girlfriend after like 2 weeks" I say surprised.

"I know it's fast, but there are bad people that are trying to get to you so please just do it" He pleads.

"I wanna go home. Just let me go home" I say getting up. He rushes to the door and blocks me in. "Isabella I can't just let you leave" he says to me.

"Yes you can, just move to the side. You aren't the boss of me and you sure as hell aren't my daddy so move before I do something you won't like" I say and he smirks and chuckles. "I'm sure you'll hurt me very badly" he says sarcastically.  I get angry and kick him in the crotch then I hit my elbow against the back of his head.

"My dad taught me that. Don't worry. There is more where that came from. I'm not just some helpless little girl. I can handle myself, thanks very much" I smile. I walk out and see everyone in the living room watching me. "You might wanna clean up that mess. He's not dead, but if he tries to pull something like that again, he might be" I say and look down at my bunny slippers.

"Damnit, he made my bunny slippers dirty" I pout and everyone looks at me in shock. "I'm going home. And taking Bob.  I'll be back eventually. Liz wanna come?" I ask and she nods with a chuckle. "I didn't think you had it in ya kid" she says as she grabs her knives and pulls Enzo with her.

"Bye bye everyone!" I wave to everyone happily and skip out the door with Liz and Enzo behind me.

(Noah's POV)

After they left I got up and stormed out my office to get a drink. Everyone was looking at me. I knew it was because what Bella did to me.

"Don't underestimate Isabella,  got it" one of the men say and they all nod their heads. I pour myself a drink and roll my eyes. "Fuck off, go do your work everyone" I yell to them, then flop onto the couch.

That damn girl never fails to surprise me. And to think she was all sunshine and rainbows.

It was going to take a lot of convincing to get her to stay here. But I like challenges.
