I woke up feeling extra happy, I don't know why but I just did. I woke up early as well. It was around 5 in the morning, I get up and get dressed. I make my way out of the dorms and into the common room. "Hey Harry," Hermione says from the couch.
"Hey, I'm going for a walk want to come?" I asked Hermione.
"No thanks I want to finish this book before Ron wakes up," Hermione answers, quickly getting back to her book. I walk out the common room door and start walking, I plan to go outside, past Hagrid's, onto the pathway, stop just before the forest, and then head back. I start heading towards Hagrid's, passing some professors and students on the way. I'm almost outside when I get a surprise hug from behind me.
"AH!" I scream, hearing a chuckle from behind me. "Dracooo," I say turning around.
"You get startled easily you know," Draco teased, "All I did was hug you," He said.
"Am I not supposed to get startled when I get a surprise hug?" I asked.
"No, you're supposed to be startled when I tap your shoulder," Draco said jokingly, "Where are you going anyways?" He asked.
"A walk, want to come?" I ask, he nods. We walk outside and past Hagrid's.
"Why are we going on a walk anyways?" Draco asks.
"I don't know I just felt like it," I say shrugging. As soon as we pass Hagrid's I feel his hand touch mine, holding it. My heart skips a few beats. We intertwine fingers and continue walking. His hand is very warm, while mine is cold.
"Your hand is cold," Draco mentions.
"I'm sorry," I apologize.
"No no it's okay I was just telling you," He added. I hugged him, he hugged back, "You like hugs don't you," he asked, I nodded. We continued walking, hand in hand, down the pathway and to the entrance of the forest. "Do we stop here?" Draco asks I nodded.
"Yes, we have breakfast soon and I really don't want to go in there," I answered him. He nodded and we turned around. Before we started walking he lets go of my hand, took my head in his hands, and kissed me. A short kiss but still, it was amazing. My eyes widened and looked at him as he pulled away, my cheeks red.
"You're blushing Harry," Draco told me.
"I - I know," I say, he smirks.
"So you like that?" Draco asks, I nod. He smiles, "Let's go," He says, I nod. He intertwines our fingers again and starts walking. I'm still here, flustered. We eventually make it back to school, letting go of each other's hands. "See you later," He tells me, I nod and wave. I walk back to the Gryffindor common room, finding Ron and Hermione sitting on the couch talking. They look up once I enter.
"Hey Harry, you look a bit flustered, are you alright?" Hermione asks. I nod.
"Did Draco kiss you?" Ron teased, I nod, "I was just kidding but alright," He said shrugging.
"I'm happy for you," Hermione added.
"Thank you, now what I need to do is find you two dates," I inform them, they both blush.
"W - wait, Harry, no no, are you serious?" Hermione asked. I nod.
"Well yeah, don't you feel lonely?" I ask. She shrugs.
"Yeah kind of," Ron adds.
"Well, I'll try my best," I tell them. Hermione sighs.
"Harry, there is no one on this earth who will date me, don't try for me please," Hermione says, closing her book. Ron looks away awkwardly. I eye him and he smiles a bit.
