The Missing Piece [STOP]

Chapter 1: Intro

I was just 10 when I encountered such intense crumbling sound within the woods that I am travelling aimlessly since I was a rogue from Lone Rogues. But those weren't just any crumbling sounds since the ground also began to shake like there's an earthquake but it was just happening where I am standing. I was afraid and I even tried to look for someplace safe to hide from these intense quakes but something was holding my ground. I don't understand even if I tried to break free from something unseen that was holding me but I can't. I wanted to cry for help as I felt those air swirling around my feet until it stopped. I might have gasped from being free from it till I realized that the quakes were finally stopped. I was confused about what just happened until something in the wind whispered to my ears.

'Come to me, my child and you'll see the long wish has been prepared.'

I don't understand what's the meaning of the whisper and even though I wanted to ignore and be on my way, I couldn't since the wind never left swirling around my whole body. It was like protecting me at the same time, it wanted to be followed. I just sighed in defeat before following where the wind was leading me. Slowly, I finally got a glimpse of the scenery but instead of having just a glimpse, I was totally taken back in such surprise when I saw tons of creatures lying on the wet grassy field. They were just unconscious since some of them were groaning as they woke up from having an unexplainable nightmare. I ignored them as the wind swirled around me began to tighten then a roar echoed throughout the field made me halted from my trace. I don't understand myself as I heard that roar, I suddenly felt the pain in my chest and I began to cry.

"A broken cry..." I whispered as the wind kept on swirling around me but I couldn't find any will to go further and check where this wind was leading me.

I was wiping my tears that kept on falling for some reason I don't understand which led me for some few minutes before I could finally glance back to where the roar came from. There, I noticed some fellows took the familiar woman then left the field which made me look even more to see who it was.

"Is that Krishna?" I asked myself as I watched them leave the field.

I don't really get what just happened here but I cautiously took a peek before standing off from the bushes where I am hiding since the coast was totally clear. I suddenly felt the wind become more violent around my feet like it was telling me to get going which I immediately went to where they took away Krishna since she was unconscious. As I got closer to the spot, I noticed a stone tablet that had been cut into two, some torches that had been used, some torn rope and some shattered clothes.

"A ritual?" I wondered as I saw those things scattered around the stone tablet but what caught my attention was the huge burned circle around the stone tablet. I know I am just 10 but I know some stuff that intrigues me.

"What just happened here?" I asked as I looked around once again but there's nothing else aside from the very huge and thick brick of ice.

I was totally intrigued toward this ice which made me approach it. As curiosity was getting the best of me, I reached to touch the thick brick of ice since I wanted to know what's hidden beneath it. When my hand finally touched it, I felt that weird temperature coming from this ice. It was supposed to be cold but this one was neither hot or cold which made me lean closer to take a peek what's inside and there, I saw a lady inside of it. The lady was a simple being like it's a human but there's something around her telling that she's more than just a human. I was staring at the lady which made my forehead touch it then the wind came back and started to swirl again around me but this time it was urging me in such hurry but it was more like it's happy to what I've found.

"So this is where you wanted me to be." I whispered that I don't understand why I found myself smiling while watching the lady inside the thick ice brick.
