An alien pod lands near the home of a family of former Supers, Mr Incredible (Bob Parr) and Elastigirl (Helen Parr). They discovered that inside was a baby with a monkey tail. They decided to adopt the baby and named him Chris. What they don't know...
It had been 10 years since Chris was found and adopted by the Parrs when he was 3 years old. He was now 13 years old and is attending middle school with his adopted sister, Violet. They were waiting for their mother to come get them, so they decided to have a talk while they wait.
Chris: So Vi, any luck with that Tony guy you like?
Violet: No...Not exactly...
Chris: Really? I know you can do it if you put your heart into it.
Violet: It's not that easy, Chris...I just don't have that kind of confidence that you do...But what if he finds me...weird?
Chris: I don't think you're weird, I think you're just unique.
Violet: Heh. You have a positive response for anything, do you?
As they were talking, Violet's crush, Tony Rydinger, was walking by, causing her to hide by turning invisible. He soon leaves and Violet reappeared and she smiles, feeling that Tony looked at her.
The joy Violet felt was soon interrupted by Chris, who was suddenly shoved to the ground, by a kid bigger than him and had a mean look to him.
Bully: Out of my way, loser. Or you're gonna get stomped!
Violet: What's your deal?! He didn't do anything to you!
Bully: Well, I just don't like wimps to get in my way.
Chris: S-Stop it....
Bully: Or what? You gonna try and hit me? Or cry like a baby?
Chris felt a deep rage in him, but he doesn't want to let it out. But the bully kept pushing him closer to the edge...Until, Chris shoves the bully far, making him run off.
Violet: Whoa...
Chris: I-I... I'm sorry...
Violet: Chris, it's...
This is interrupted by a car horn. Helen and Dash arrived. Chris managed to calm down seeing his mother and brother. They go into the car and head back home.
Later than night, the Parrs were having dinner, with an argument about Dash getting in trouble, Violet wanting to be normal...but before a fight between Dash and Violet breaks out, Chris spoke up.
Chris: Mom... Dad... I-I think I almost hurt someone today...
Bob: Huh? What do you mean?
Helen: Sweetie, you couldn't hurt a fly.
Violet: Well, he was getting bullied...He only shoved the kid, but he landed across the street.
Chris: I-I just felt...anger, boiling inside...I-I'm scared of what my power can do...
Helen: Honey, it's okay. You didn't know your strength and I know you can control your temper. You don't have to feel afraid of yourself.
The moment is over when Lucius came over to the house. He and Bob went "Bowling", which was really them doing secret hero work.
Chris stayed back home and was sitting with Helen, while Violet and Dash were in their rooms. He and Helen were doing something that Chris got into when he was 8 years old. It was meditation. Whenever Chris felt uneasy, they'd do this to find inner peace.
Chris: Thanks mom..I needed this.
Helen: It's all good, kiddo. I wouldn't like to see my little guy stressed out.
Chris: Heh. You're the best, mom.
Helen: Thanks, sweetie.
They share a hug and soon sends Chris off to bed when it's almost getting late. Bob returned home late and an argument breaks out, the kids were hidden and listening to it. Chris was the most worried about it, when Bob brings up how strong Chris is and shouldn't be afraid to use his strength, Helen gets upset, but the argument stops when they hear the kids. They all calm down and head to bed.
Bob is fired from his job, because of him wanting to leave and he lost his temper and hurt his boss. He received a mysterious letter and it's about an opportunity to be a hero again. He secretly leaves to the island that the woman, who was called Mirage, told him to go and defeat a rampaging robot called an Omnidroid.
Bob was successful and wanted to keep doing this, but this also gave Bob an idea, he'd try to bring Chris to the island with him. He tells Helen he wants to spend time with Chris, so Helen lets Chris go out with Bob. Bob tells Chris that he wants to workout and train together, with their powers.
Chris: Dad, isn't this like using our powers? Won't mom get mad?
Bob: Yeah, it kinda is. But I think this will help you not be afraid of your strength and control it.
Chris: Hmm..Okay then, dad. Let's do it!
Bob: Alright!
They train, with Chris getting stronger and in more control of his strength. He decided to add meditation to his rest time when he trains and this does help him with control. The final part of training was a sparring match between Chris and Bob. Chris was clearly holding back, not wanting to hurt Bob.
Bob: C'mon, kiddo! Don't be scared! Don't hold back! I know you can do it!
Bob was about to land another hit...until Chris caught Bob's fist. He had steam emitting from his body. He looks up at Bob, his face full of rage. Soon, his eyes became pure white and soon...A fiery yellow aura bursts around Chris and this shocks Bob.

Bob was soon sent flying across the train yard as Chris lets out a powerful roar like yell and he charges at Bob. He unleashed powerful punches and kicks. This surprised and amazed Bob. After a heck of a fight, Chris soon turned back to his normal self. He looked at Bob, worried that Bob was afraid of him. But instead, he was just happy.
Bob: Yeah, baby! You were amazing! I've never seen like that! Your power is unbelievable!
