(Ian's POV)

I was suddenly aware of someone watching me. I didn't even bother to look, as I could only assume that it was Anthony. We lived together, so I couldn't really expect anyone else to be behind me. My thoughts were abruptly cut off as someone put a hand on my back. I snapped to attention, immediately sitting up and turning to face whoever was behind me. I let out a relieved sigh as I recognized Anthony. It wasn't that I had expected anyone else, but when someone is suddenly behind you it can be a bit startling.

"Ian?" He said softly, his voice a hushed whisper.

"What?" I sighed, staring up at his gorgeous face.

"Can you go get the mail? I think the package we've been waiting for came in.." Anthony said slowly, looking away to avoid my gaze.

"Why can't you do it?!" I huffed, crossing my arms in annoyance.

"Please....? I'm busy editing..." Anthony said in his adorable whiny voice.

I let out an exasperated sigh, giving up, "Fine.."

He smiled brightly at me, "Thanks Ian!"

"Yeah, whatever." I huffed before adding a sarcastic joke, "Just don't think I'm your personal servant or anything now!"

He rolled his eyes at me and laughed quietly, "Uhuh, sure."

I slowly stood up, not bothering to pick up the computer mouse that I had dropped earlier. Anthony smiled smugly as he walked to his room, where he was probably editing videos. Hesitantly, I made my way to the door, not really wanting to go outside. I wanted to fall back into my own pool of thoughts, to imagine what it would be like to feel His lips against mine. Shaking my head to clear my thoughts, I walked outside towards the road.

As I approached the mailbox, I couldn't help but notice something across the street. I couldn't tell what it was, but I tried to just ignore it. But I couldn't ignore my curiosity. I found myself walking across the road, not even realizing that there was a car speeding towards me until I glanced over at it.

My eyes widened, and I froze, not having enough time to react before the car collided with me. I was sent to the ground, where I skidded across the pavement. I could feel the coarse texture of the road tearing my skin and ripping the side of my jeans. Pain seared through my right shin, where the car had made the hardest impact. I cried out in pain, but my cry was cut off as I momentarily lost consciousness.

When I woke, Anthony was looming over me, staring down at me in utter anxiety and concern. Slight rage also gleamed in his gaze, or was that just his fear? I couldn't really tell in my disoriented state. Darkness edged my vision, and I could barely hear Anthony. I could see his mouth moving and I could feel slight vibrations in my ears as he frantically spoke, trying to get me to respond.

But I couldn't reply.

(Anthony's POV)

I stared at Ian, questioning myself about him getting the package that was meant for him. I decided to allow him to get it. It isn't like he would open it on the spot! I rested my hand on his back, as Ian looked back, startled, then relieved to see it was me. I was a still a bit uneasy about him retrieving the package that was meant for him.

"Ian?" I said softly, my voice a hushed whisper.

"What?" said Ian with a sigh following it.

"Can you go get the mail? I think the package we've been waiting for came in.." I said slowly, looking away so my facial expression didn't give away anything

"Why can't you do it?!" Ian huffed, crossing his arms like a four year old would to in a tantrum.

"Please....? I'm busy editing..." I said in my whiny voice.

Ian sighed again. Is he sick of me? "Fine.."

I smiled back at him, "Thanks Ian!"

"Yeah, whatever." Ian said, nearly mumbling, "Just don't think I'm your personal servant or anything now!"

I rolled my eyes and chuckled, "Uhuh, sure."

Ian got up, leaving behind the mouse hanging on its wire. I picked it back up and pulled out the keyboard. I looked out the window and saw Ian exit the house, retrieving the mail. He started to walk to the other side of the road, even though our mailbox is on same side of the raid as our house. Weird. I closed the blinds and continued to edit out newest episode of "Game Bang". I placed the headphones on my ears. Then I heard it. The worst sound in the world. Ian screaming in pain. I threw the headphones on the table and quickly put on some fuzzy-bunny slippers. I pounded through the door, not bothering to close it. I saw tire skids right before Ian's unconscious body.

"Oh God!" My eyes filled with tears, making everything a blur. I ran over to him and kneeled over his body, a few tears slipping out. I rolled his body over, revealing the damage. It looked a lot worse than what it really was. His blue eyes were rolled back. I grabbed his plaid shirt and shook him, trying to get him back into reality.

"IAN!" I yelled. His lips opened to say something, but nothing came out. His eyes were back to normal, but dull. I started to blame myself for all of this. Anger built up inside of me at myself and the driver of the speeding car, then a rush of fear came over my body. "Come on, Ian!" I frantically yelled, but there was no reaction from Ian. I opened up the garage and grabbed the keys off the key hanger and started it up. I pulled next to Ian, picked him up, and placed him in the passenger seat. I shut his door, and put the peddle to the metal to get to the ER. I couldn't tell whether he was conscious or not.

(Ian's POV)

I sat silently in the car. My body burned with pain, and I fought to hold back tears and stay conscious as I stared out the side window. Whoever had hit me with their car had fled before Anthony came. They left me to die. It's a damn good thing Anthony was there, or I wouldn't be alive to ride in the car.

We were headed towards the ER, where doctors would help me. I was still shocked and uneasy from the painful experience of getting hit. But, to me, the fact that they drove away after hitting me was unbelievable.

Who is THAT inconsiderate of other people?

The thought haunted my mind. It was everyone. I couldn't think of one person who was considerate of everyone.
