She was always confident in her choices. The fact that she didn't believe his words at that time and chose the wrong path was also right in the face of fate. She was bound to be wrong, which meant it was the right choice for her. She was happy and her life was brighter for the time she spent with him. Still, every time she encountered some events, her decision was shaken. She might have stood in the way of the form of happiness he was supposed to choose, a future for him and his family. Still, she could not choose to let him go. It was synonymous with having her soul ripped out of her body.

How much more time could they spend together? As the thought flashed through her mind, she always tried to dismiss it. The future for them was more uncertain than the future others envisioned, because it was difficult for them to even know each other's movements while they were apart. The short time they spent together was sweeter than any sweetener, and the time they didn't see each other was like a time spent diluting its stewed-down extract of sweetness, little by little.

This year they were reunited again successfully. The concert was well attended and his reputation was high. He had a good reputation not only as a performer, but also as a leader. He will be invited here again next year.

One day during the two weeks, they walked hand in hand through the streets of Switzerland. Having chosen a non-touristy city, they decided that the odds of them meeting someone they knew were very low. As they sat on a bench and intertwined their fingers with each other, they heard a sobbing girl of about five years old, crying and looking for her parents. They ran up to the lost girl and offered to help her find her parents. The girl was wary at first of the unknown adults, but gradually became more comfortable with them. She demanded that they hold her hand. Jeonghyeok and Seri each held the girl's hands and they walked around looking for the girl's parents. Finally, in a corner of the market, they met the parents looking for their stray daughter. They were tearfully reunited, and the girl jumped into the chest of her parents. Her parents thanked Jeonghyeok and Seri. As they left, the girl turned around and waved widely. Jeonghyeok and Seri also waved back. They didn't have anything to say to each other, but they felt satisfied, and they walked down the street together again, hand in hand. It was time to imagine them in the future. But they didn't say anything to each other because they knew it was too extravagant a desire for them.

Seri was dreaming. Jeonghyeok and the girl are holding hands as if it were daytime. They walked towards a bright light with a smile on their faces. Someone is waving at the end of the light and they wave back at it. Staring at it, Seri can't move an inch. Even if Seri reaches out to them, they will never reach it. Screaming loudly did not make them turn around.
It was midnight when Seri woke up. Her breathing was a little heavy and she was sweating. She was relieved to find Jeonghyeok's arms around her body. Moving her head slightly, she saw Jeonghyeok's face asleep. Seri sighs heavily. Fortunately, he doesn't seem to be awake yet.
Seri was relieved to see that it was a dream and felt like she was having an epiphany that she should let go of his hand. She whispered quietly, 'Saranghae'
so that he wouldn't notice her. A single tear ran down her cheek.
