Chapter 29: Strangest Things

Recap: I quickly rushed to the hospital when I got there I saw Harvey waiting for me at the entrance. He had a hopeful look on his face...

"what's going on?" I asked him.

"a nurse was busy cleaning Harpers hospital room when the  machine that was holding her heart rate.."

"what did it do Harvey?!" I asked him again.

"it malfunctioned... It started beeping real fast like way to fast for a heart beat then stopped and repeated that. And at first they thought it was just the machine but when they Un hooked her from the thing she shook rappedly then stopped then shook again and then stopped. She laid the for a solid 10 second when suddenly she just sat up straight. Like she woke up from a really bad dream."

"wait so she's awake?"

"yeah the doctors checked on her and she is 100% fine. Like nothing happened." he said shocked still.

"can we go see her?" I asked.

"yeah!"

I ran to her room. I stood in the door way and saw her laying there. The nurse was talking to her.

"you have to eat something." the nurse spoke.

"but I'm not hungry!" Harper said. She looked up at me. The nurse then turned around and looked at me.

"QUINTON!" Harper screamed. She jumped up and pulled all of the neadels and stickers off of herself.

"woah there!" i said running over to her and lightly pushing her down so she was back on the bed. I then looked at her and started crying. I grabbed her and held her close to me. As I was hugging her I noticed that she was literally squishing me. like she was stronger than she's suppose to be. But I just thought it was because I was running on 1 hour of sleep. When she pulled away I also noticed her eyes. They were a bright yellow color.

"I'll give you guys some space." the nurse said and left.

"what's going on with your eyes?" I asked her.

"I don't know. What is going on with my eyes?" she asked me. I gave her my phone on the front camera.

"WOAH! that's sick! My eyes are yellow."

"Harper, Don't you think the doctors should check that out?"

"can't you just be happy that I'm alive and stop asking so many questions?!" she looked at me and her eyes went from yellow to red. I took a step back. As I did she quickly laid back down.

"I'm so so sorry! I didn't mean to scream." she said and her eyes turned into a soft sky blue color.

"no it's not that. It's your eyes. They're changing color."

"what?" she asked me as if I'm a crazy person.

"first they were yellow then when you got angry they turned dark red and once you calmed down and started apologizing they turned a soft sky blue color." I said. "we need to get you out of here. now!" I said looking around the room. There was a window. I looked back at her.

Harveys POV:

I walked onto Harpers hospital room after I got a cola from the vending machine.

"yo guys I got this cola from the vending- guys?" they were gone. As I was looking around the room I felt a cold breeze against my leg. I looked to the side and saw the window was open.

"oh no.."
