Henry POV
I was thrilled when i saw Charles.
He hugged tight. I hugged him back. i stroked his soft brown hair and kissed his forehead.
"you okay?! you hurt?! what did they do?! wh-"
I was cut off Charles shushing me.
"i'm okay Henry! jeez i didn't know you cared about me that much!"
"of course i do! what type of a person would i be if i didn't?"
Charles smiled at me and kissed my cheek.
"i know you do."
I smiled back.
"now we just have to find Ellie and Demo."
"who?"
"i'll explain later."
"where's ruby."
i looked behind me still seeing Ruby running towards me and Charles.
I scooped Ruby up with my arms and turned back to Charles
"now let's go find them."
we started walking back to where we came from.
man i'm so glad i ran into Charles. It's good to know he's alright.
it was quiet for some time until Charles spoke up.
"who's Demo?"
"Demo is a some type of dragon half wolf i think."
"SO THAT'S WHY I SAW A TREE WITH WINGS! DEMO BEHIND THE TREE! RIGHT?"
"EEK! err. yes?"
"sorry that screamed."
"no need to say sorry Charles."
Ruby started moving around in my arms and wanted to go to Charles
"i think Ruby missed you."
I placed Ruby at the floor and she ran to Charles licking his shoe.
Charles picked up Ruby in his arms
"hi Ruby."
Ruby started licking Charles face. he giggled while Ruby was giving him kisses.
"she missed me Henry."
I smiled at him. he just..GAH! so cute.
"c'mon we have to keep looking for them"
"okay!"
we continued walking down the hall. barely anyone's here at night. but for some reason the lights are still on.
Charles still had Ruby in his arms. Ruby fell asleep in Charles' arms.
we went to a hallway with no lights. dull enough.
I looked at Charles. he nodded before continuing in the dark hall.
hopefully we both do get lost in this dark hallway.
a loud noise was caused inside a closet.
Ruby woke by the noise. she started to get scared.
she jumped off of Charles arms and landed. she went behind me.
me and Charles started to hold hands and walked towards the closet. with Ruby behind me.
