Joe
I woke up (like I always do) but I felt different this time. After Colorado, we went to Texas, Alabama and now we are in Tennessee. Last night we all slept on the tour bus. Today we are performing in a town right outside of Nashville. We head to get breakfast and walk into the store. I got a doughnut.
We have about another hour before we get to the small town called Brentwood.
"Why are we doing a show here again" Kevin complains
"Why are you always complaining," I ask him
"I just don't get why"
"Because we gotta preform," Nick tells him
"But why a small down like Brentwood?"
"Stop complaining or go talk to dad," I tell him
Just then the bus stops I look out the window and here we are. We get out of the bus and have an hour to look around we put all our stuff in the hotel. We are staying here for 2 days and doing 2 shows. As I walk around with Nick I see a girl sitting on a bench crying. She has her phone in her hand and her dog sitting next to her.
"Nick you go on ahead I'll catch up later"
"Ok," he says as he walks away.
I walk up to her and say "Hey"
She doesn't even look up "Go away"
"look at me," I tell her
"What," she says looking up.
"What's wrong?"
"It's none of your business." She says as she gets up and walks away
"Wait," I say running after her
"What" she turns around and faces me
"Please tell me, I can help you"
"No, you can't"
"At least tell me."
"I get bullied at school"
"oh" I didn't know what to say
"Yeah"
"Come with me for a second"
"uh ok"
As we walked back to the tour bus I started a conversation. I found out she was born in Texas and at 3 her parents put her up for adoption because she was physically abused. At age 4 she was adopted by Kane Brown. I didn't know exactly who he was, but I heard of him. We got to the bus and she said "Oh so your a Jonas brother"
"So now you know"
"Yeah," she says rubbing the back of her neck like Nick does.
"So I guess I'll see you later?" She says
"Yeah," I say as I hand her a sheet of paper
"What's this?"
"My number"
"Ok" She walks off.
"Wow," I say
"Somebody's falling hard," Nick says
"Yeah maybe," I tell him.
