Today is the day I move into my own apartment me and deohra
My name is India , I'm 21 and just started my own business and bought my first condo , I have an 6yr old daughter and yes I had her when I was 15.
I got up and did all my hygiene before my baby woke up . I got her outfit out and did my hair into a slick back bun .
Deohra woke up so I went in my room and took her a bath and did her hair while she watched Disney. My phone started ringing and it was my bestfriend lashae asking can we go to the mall .
I grabbed deohra hand and my purse and went to the car and buckled her in.lashae said she was gone meet me there but we stopping by the gas station first
She chose the most ghetto gas station there was so I made sure I locked my doors getting out the car
"Heyyyy TT" deohra Dan to lashae as we was about to walking in the store . Lashae was about to open the door until she heard arguing and we looked over and it was some dudes looking like they were about to fight so we ran in the store and hurried to buy our things and get gas
We paid for it and was about to walk off the side walk until we heard gunshots let off , deohra started screaming and ran , I tried to grab her but all the people running to the cars were in the way.
I was crying loud calling her name , the shooting stopped and I got off the ground and ran to my car to see no deohra and I cried hard asking lashae were was deohra until I heard somebody call my name
"Mommyyyyyy"I looked up and deohra was crying running towards me
"Oh my god baby don't do that no more where was you at" I picked her up hugging her tight crying
"The man right dere picked me up when I almost got hit by a car but he was also shooting a gun mommy " she said pointing at this man that was paying us no attention
I walked up to him and his lil group " thank you for keeping her with you I'm so sorry" I said and he just nodded his head and looked back at his phone , rude.
I buckled deohra back in her seat and pulled off heading to tha mall
"Take my picture mommy" Deohra said posing i just laughed and took her picture her lil grown self
We walked into LV first cause I wanted to buy her a lil purse cause she be trying to wear mine
"This one mommy I like it " she said pointing to a pretty little colorful purse
"Okay baby grab it " we went to the register and I grabbed some slides and the next store we went to was lashae favorite which was foot locker
I asked deahra to pick a couple pair of shoes out and I asked the man for them and told them our size
As I was walking I bumped into somebody

After that shooting and shii me and tha gang decided to hit up tha mall to buy them new shoes that just came out
"Mane that girl was so damn bad she can't be from ghetto ass Memphis she can't be " trey just kept saying
"Okay dude stfu damn " I said irritated walking in footlocker
I just got on my phone and walked away from them until a mf decided to bump into me
"Damn watch where you going " she said fixing ha hair
I just mugged the fuck out of her and walked past her she was so damn bad , teeth pretty,ass fat,natural long hair she had everything that's the girl from the gas station
India POV
I just mugged him and kept walking to tha register with deohra right on my tail
The man sat 10boxes of shoes on the counter 5 for me and my baby
"Damn girl you must be a sneaker head" somebody said from behind me
I looked back and seen them group of dudes from the gas station
I just did a lil smile and nodded turning back around
"That'll be $1,260 cash or card?" The man asked
"Umm card please " I said swiping my card and grabbing my bag
" come on lashaeeee" I dragged as she was getting one of the boys number from the group
"Ready to head out?" She asked and I nodded holding a sleeping deohra
