chapter 3

As Bakugou walked back into the room you felt his unease but turned back to the doctor, he told Mr. Azawia that it would be best for you to learn sign language and for him to do the same. You were starring blankly at the floor when a piece of paper was slid into your lap. It said: 'we are going to put you into a sign language class so it's easier for you to communicate, but don't worry your teacher will be going with you.'

You slightly frowned at the note that the doctor had written, you hopped off the bed and went to a nightstand at the side of your bed and began you write. While you were tending to that you hadn't noticed Bakugou walk up to Mr. Azawia and ask if he could join the classes too (Ik not a very Bakugou thing to do but I'm trying to make it sweet). Azawia gives a simple nod and leaves the room, you stand up and hand the doctor the note, which you wrote 'that's fine when will the classes start? and how much will it coast?' The doctor pulled a pen out of the jacket pocket and wrote 'Wednesday 1:00pm and there is no coast.' 

   He handed the paper back to you and you mentally smiled to yourself seeing that it was free, your siblings came to take you home a few hours later. when they walked in you felt long arms wrap around you from the back when you realized it was your older brother you hugged back, the doctor then told him the news you could tell by the shocked sad face he had then your sister walked in from parking the car and over heard the news. (sorry I forgot to tell you you have an older brother who is 17 and a older sister who is 19). 

You waved goodbye to Bakugou and Kirishima after you collected your clothes from the nurses. Before you knew it you were seated in the back seat of the car and was driving home. You looked out the window the whole time observing the streetlights in silence you thought yourself 'well at least I can have some peace and quiet..' You started to tear up a bit to the fact that you wouldn't be able to hear others voices maybe ever again... even the ones that mattered. Your sister pulled the car up in the driveway and opened your door which made you fall out a bit from the unexpected gestor but you caught yourself in time.

As usual when (b/n) (brother name) opened the door the house it was dark but your parents weren't home you didn't know where they were but thought nothing of it maybe they just went out. You took off your shoes as you entered the dark empty house and walked upstairs with your bag. As you entered your room you took your clothes out of your bag and hung them in your closet and changed into your pj's and hopped into your bed, you were expecting a loud 'thump' to come after the movement but it had just been the sweet sound of silence. 

  You drifted off to sleep after a few hours of thinking of how your classmates would react to you. The next morning you woke up by yourself to see your clock blinking next to your bed. 'hm I must of gotten used to waking up at this time.' You rolled out of bed still a little tired from last night, you looked into your closet to find your U.A uniform and slipped it on. You walked downstairs to find your sister making breakfast and your brother slouched on the couch watching T.V. (s/n) notices you on the stairs and motions for you to come down.

You do as told but notice that your parents still aren't home...weird they must of went to work early.. you were taken out of your thoughts when a plate with a breakfast wrap on it, you take the plate and bow you head saying 'thank you' and take a seat the the table and start eating. Once you finished you put the plate in the sink and waved bye to your siblings and left for school. Once you got to the floor your class was located on you saw a familiar brunette walked from the opposite side. You waved at her and she waved back with a closed eyed smile. 

She walked up to you and looked down at you (or up idk if you want to be tall or short :/) You once again saw her mouth open and close but heard nothing she had said. You motioned for her to come into the class room where you bend down on your knees to take out some paper from your bag. You got a pencil/pen and wrote these words 'I'm sorry but I may not be able to hear your words for a while..' Uraraka tilted her head a little at the note in confusion, you took the note back and wrote on it 'I'm became deaf after a explosion.' She looked shocked and worried at the sometime and quickly hugged you with tears in her eyes. She took the paper and wrote 'who did this to you? I'm guessing it was Bakugou..' you nodded when she held the note to you. Then izuku walked into the classroom writing something in this notebook, Uraraka took your arm and led you to him.

He looked down slightly to see you and Ochako, He said good morning as he does every morning to you guys, Ochako had a sad smile on her face and greeted him back (like I said before since you are deaf you can't hear dialogue like this so ignore when someone is speaking.)  

You could tell that she had told him what happened to you, he looked at Ochako for a second then looked at you behind her with your arms still locked together, he looked down and took a step closer to you and bent down a little and ruffled your hair with a reassuring smile on his face which only caused you to looked down, sad that you couldn't hear his voice that could of given you a little more confidence... You wiped your eye in response to his smile, he flipped to a random page in his notebook and wrote 'we will get through this and you will be able to hear again' when you looked up at this writing you beamed a bit even that was the most adorable thing to them. A slight blush crossed izuku's face following a closed eye smile.

The rest of the classed walked in shortly after you three took your seats (but not Kirishima ofc). The room was filled with chatter, chatter you couldn't hear.. you were busy looking out the window next to you at the grey clouds that blocked the sun. A couple of minuets later a person in a yellow sleeping bag slithered into the classroom, you could feel the chatter starting to die down so you looked up to see it has stopped, you turned your attention to the bag that started to rise and Mr. Azawia stepping out of it, (you can't hear this part) "good morning students, before we go outside I would like to announce something important.." he walked over to his stand and continued "(Y/n) has lost her hearing due to the fight we had faced a few days ago.. it would be best to communicate with her through writing and text obviously" The whole class went silent and slowly turned their heads to you one by one they all looked sad and some scared and worried but Bakugou didn't look at you he starred to his desk arms crossed, he looked the saddest of them all..
